another report by bob vogt, must be getting pretty good at the processes involved by now.
no doubt the cobby boys were playing there untarnished brand of football as per usualy, no punching people from behind in the kidneys, no punches on the bottom of the packs etc.

I think Shauny's pretty happy where he is. But, of course, we wouldn't refuse him.

How bad are Loxton North going? Jake Albrecht played As for them on the weekend.

Jake's a good bloke and I've had many a beer with him.
Gutsy effort for him to get back in the As to be honest, let alone playing, having broken a leg last season.
But I think he'd admit that in a good side he wouldn't be playing A grade.

How many players did Loxton North lose from the grand final side compared to Loxton? I know Kaesler went to Tanunda and is kicking a few goals with Martin Baillie out injured.

At least he's out there having a crack I guess.
The same can be said for all the North boys.
Very young side, just getting out there and playing footy.

I think North will be a very good side in a couple of years. Rhyss Cook's going to be a star locally.
There are some other young talents there too who will do very well in the future if they remain with the club. Short term pain, long term gain.

Catfish - considerable losses.

Matt and Jason Barry (Gepps Cross)
Craig Wooldridge, Brett Tschirpig, Steve Inglis (Reserves)
Barry Kaesler (Tanunda)

Those are all fairly significant losses.

North lost Dave Gregoric, Matthew Barry, Steve Inglis, Craig Wooldridge, Barry Kaesler, Jason Barr, Ross Bament, Andrew Tullett and Scott Lewis from last year's grand final side.
Some are just playing Bs.

Cheers BD - I was working from memory. I forgot about some of those - how I could forget Scott Lewis I don't know.

What's chances on him coming back? He's seemingly not excited Mark Mickan too much at Glenelg this year.

I'd think Scott would finish the season with the Bays.
Although he did come back about this time in 2005 as well.
