Just enhancing the traditional 'wharfie' roots of the 2 err 1 err 2 or is it 1 Club(s).
Looks like a Buoy floating on water (the colour of the Port River after ICI have emptied there waste products) with a Magpie - seems OK to me.

Perhaps they could adopt this logo next year, modified with a fist stabbing a lightning bolt through the heart of the Magpie?
