no the points system. Even a few returning players would be worth points as they wouldn't have played the required 25 games

good point bigshow, can only have so many recruits in one year

be good if the sporting pulse automatically calculates the points per side :)

does the league have to check every team in every grade every week?

The league doesn't it's up to each club and I'm sure they know what they are doing. They had 0 carry over points from last year.

so the only ones that know if your playing with too many points, is the club itself, no else externally takes the time to check?

Great win by houton over uni. are all the uni boys in brazil? :)

feeling for smosh boys, 30 goal loss. sure they chose to come to div 7 (if not forced too) but 50 blokes again just want a kick and a catch on a saturday arvo made to play highly tuned paid agraders. what a ridiculous competition :)

seeing wingfield kick 8 goals a great sign must have won a lot of footy contests on the day so keep rising royals

And we were at full strength plus playing a couple of AFL players under different names.

Give credit where credit is due!!!

We played a good game!!!!

If uni cant cover 8 players being out when they have about 200 play for their club and 3 sides below their c's to pull players up from their must be something wrong.

When we have 8 players out it's a different story!!! We are a small club with limited numbers
And lets face what team doesnt have 8 players out this time of year!!!!

Just an aside here; it's somebody from Hope Valley who has said about Uni having 8 out; nobody from Uni has said this or used it as an excuse.
Houghton won against the side Uni had on the ground that's all they can do.
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much

well on sportsbet it would have been Uni ahead in the betting

houghton have some quality cattle but not enough to be imposing at this stage IMO

i suspect even the houghton boys were a little bit stunned to have done so well

i suspect uni knowing come september, cattle availability is increased as losing this game is no biggy for them

but with north pines on the rise, the loss could mean uni may lose the double chance and may face an elimination final

end of the day houghton stronger for it so look out and they now officially 2nd best side in comp

So we have beaten every side except for Smithfield and we are not 'enough to be imposing'!!!

Why would we be stunned that we beat uni?,
Are you saying we don't have faith in our own team and each other??

North Pines are a good team when at full strength but how often will that be??? They still need to make their way into the top 5 to play finals and have only won three games so far.

And no we will not take them lightly!!

Stunned? Exhausted more like it.

Much like in Round 1, the game was won in the second quarter. They did hit back at us in the third, but never enough to grab the lead.

well being the head of accounting at the SAAFL and having such detailed information at my peril i can only say...

how the f##k would i know

one could only speculate of the big names in this division,

if u wanna claim that smithfield, houghton or north pines have no incentives for their bigger names to stick around down here, thats fine but go piss on everyone elses leg

the bottom line of it all...

agrade = can be f#cked footballers
cgrade = cant be f#cked footballers

u obviously think its fair putting 2 sides like this against each other, i dont

and your obviously one who kicks on all night claiming your boys were superb today - hello you played a pack of C-Grade cant be f##ked footballers
