No, he can train, one of the more reliable trainers. I reckon in his first year he never missed a single training session.

Hughy only put in a transfer request after the club president texted him would you believe, not a phone call, saying that he wouldn't be considered in any grade for the forseeable future and they recommend he finds a new club while the clearance window is open..
