Where did all the players go? You would've thought that going up a div would attract players. Not players leaving to other clubs. Was it because of the old coach leaving? Or they didn't like the new coach? Who knows eh.

In my experience I have found the complete opposite.

Other than perhaps the Coaches and recruiting people thinking they needed to because of said division jump.
