Im sure they are not fussed, both grades won when it counted last year.
This year was always going to be a year of little success for the Dogs and Centrals are miles ahead of the rest.
Plenty of sides by get 100 point touchups by the Tiges in both grades this year

Bombers destroyed by Tanunda today, not a bad contest until half time but 10 goals to 1 in the last half. Britton had a day out and probably outscored us on his own

And you think that Barossa will clear him while he's under contract? Dream on...

If the Sanfl get involved will they get a choice? That's if he really wants to leave - do these contracts in country football mean much these days?

Your right. Contracts are not worth the paper they are written on. It would be nice if it was like the old days when a mans handshake meant something!

I'm not saying you're miles off the mark because I don't know. However, if that rumour has any creedence (I think it's crap) this is my view FWIW
Barossa District give Cutting an opportunity to finally play in a Senior Premiership team
He wins BOG in GF award & loves the game, the club, the league et all..
At least 6 first choice premiership players leave the club - announcing it in about December last year
Cutting decides to stay & play on, feeling he owes the club (and is very very well remunerated for his talent)
As expected, BDFC struggle against the top sides in 2014 & may well finish at the bottom of the table
Cutting (allegedly) decides to leave after 3 games - doesn't want to get "smashed" each week
If that happens & the SANFL supports this
1. The SANFL is not acting in the best interests of BDFC, BL&G or the player who clearly is a mercenary and doesn't understand club culture
2. It says a lot about the character and resilience of Cutting. None of it complimentary...
I personally think he's better than that, and wouldn't be the type to desert a club that's been so good to him, in their hour of greatest need.

It could be a mutual thing. Obviously Cutting on big coin and they might be happy to let him go and save money for when they get some more points to have a crack again...

Anyway doesn't he live in one of the towns now?

Very ordinary day for the Bombers at Willaston, absolutely slaughtered. Willaston just way too slick and dominated every position.
A lot of work to be done and a fair bit of soul searching id imagine.
Couple of interesting results this round, did Centrals put the cue in the rack at 1/2 time? To lead by 70 at the break and let Nuri kick 13 goals to 5 after halftime is staggering. Tanunda result was expected but didnt see South winning by so much.
So top 3 are Gawler clubs and Central v South next week with both unbeaten, South have been surprising but cant see them getting close to the Tigers.
Good to see a few big bags of goals aswell although id rather Williams chose another side to kick 8 against, Mercer with 9 and Lawry with 10 for the day

South have had the dream opening run against teams who you'd imagine would be bottom 3 - so who knows how good they are. Kapunda missing at least 8 first choice A graders - again how do you gauge their standard at the moment. The rest of the results as expected; aren't they??
Gawler Centrals can have a rest and still win easily - still the favourites.
Centrals, Tanunda and Willaston then who else?

I think most people had South finishing bottom 3 so its great to be proving them wrong. Was a fairly good standard game yesterday with both sides playing decent footy, Ango played some real good patches and Lawton was really impressive, they wont finish bottom if they play like that every week. South also have improvement in them, still undermanned a little, great to see the kids having a crack
Real big game this week against a very good Tigers outfit, they are definately the benchmark

Just a peanut who decided he would come onto the field and attack a player, he was probably lucky in the end not to cop a decent flogging. Im sure Angaston and the Police will take care of the matter

Are you serious?
Not sure any provocation warrants a spectator going on the field and placing their hands on a player, the players would of been well within their rights to belt the living suitcases out of this person.
That sort of behaviour is unacceptable and hope he faces the full brunt of the law, Angaston are a well ran club and have many decent people involved at the club so im sure they will make the right decision and move this person on.
Have the umpires filed an official complaint?

Yes agree, spectators on field a definitely not on and I've seen my share in another competition. However the South player who called his wife a 'f******g w****' basically to her face should not become some sort of hero out of this either. Unfortunately he probably will and its doubtful his club will deal with him at all. The whole thing wasn't a good look for football, but we can expect more of it unfortunately as the competition becomes more urbanised.
