I won on the over 111.5 pts but only just in the end. Went down to the last minute.

I didn't think West were that bad

Just go to show how much footy is played between the ears, the Storms attitude and hunger for the contest was way superior to West who wanted to play free flowing footy.

Now there are no byes I think this concept is dead for SANFL teams

That wasn't worth the price of admission. These sorts of results are embarrassing for the SANFL really. It's one thing to say West Adelaide put in a weak squad, but multiple times their players squibbed the contest and the Storm were harder at the ball all night. Foxtel cup games between WAFL and VFL sides are generally really good to watch but the SANFL are just letting the comp down. If you don't want to play in it, refuse the invitation.

0-4 and a loss to a TSL side, great start for Mark Mickan...

And the reigning Foxtel Cup champ, who got there by thrashing a VFL side and beating 2 WAFL sides, is... ?

Shit game to watch on TV. How bad did west adelaide look, when they had to win they just pushed more numbers around the ball to make it harder to get a clear possession. Go figure?

Don't forget the Western Storm were undermanned too, I didn't see the Honey Badger or Billy Slater out there.

Can West Adelaide still win the Foxtel Cup?
because 1 of the betting companies still has them at $9 today
