The problem Mypo has is they have 4 players who prefer to play Full Forward. It aint going to work. Kowald cannot play CHF. Does not work hard enough.

Watched Us Saturday and my Prediction was on the Money with Mannum just getting over the line. I think Mannum will Improve but i think we will as well. New Coach, new Players, it will take a couple of rounds but i think we will be a threat again this Year. We will See this week if Ramblers have Improved after we Embarassed them Last Year.

Was Sheedy injured PB? Can't seem to see him on the players list on sportingpulse.

Yeah Sheeds didn't play ... think he did a slight hammy in the trial last week. Impressive result by your boys Grassy - was it a case of Jervois being overrated or are the Bears THAT good? Great for the comp to have the Bears up and about early!

Was at the jervois v meninge game and I'd have to say that Menengie looked every bit a genuine threat for a top 4 position. They were very good. The game was played at a high intensity with both sides cracking in. Meninge simply ran harder, used the footy extremely well and kept the foot down all day. Jervois have got a lot of work to do from what I saw but I wouldn't write them off just yet. As for the Bears guess we'll see how serious a contender they are when they play Mypo, Mannum, Ramblers and Imps. Be interesting to see how they go against Tailem this week, if they play the way they played yesterday there won't be too much joy for the Eagles.

I ventured out to the Jervois v Bears game and hopper - I stand corrected!
I thought Thorpe was solid all day, number 5 did the damage when it counted but for me I really expected more of the Bluds. Time will tell...
The Bears have clearly are the big improvers early!!'

The secret is finally out! Jezza is moving back to his home town Warracknabeal as he's fed up with the custard berliners in South Australia.

Time for my enlightening 3 things I learnt this week

1. Imperials are still the biggest bunch of whingers in this comp & none more so than Henry Hodge. The bloke loves nothing more than a cheap shot behind play but the second anyone touches him, he whinges like a little baby having there dummy stolen. Would love to see him get an actual hard ball get one day aswell, maybe then he can tell me hes as tough as he acts

2.Stevie has done a great job getting the younger players involved & playing for him. They are.definitely getting more out of their bottom 4 or 5 players which is what killed us in the end

3.I questioned an ex-Rambler who coaches the Imps ressies after the game about what its like to be on the umpires side now? He jokingly said its s*!t loads better being with them rather than against them. Interesting comment I thought

C'mon Biff, we were simply better on the day. Hodgey does his job beautifully, he gets underneath the skin of the opposition. I admit he doesn't get the hard ones but Boydo is the grunt in the middle. The fact is you boys hate it hard and it doesn't get any easier for you with Mannum next game. They hit just as hard and you boys could be 0-3 ;)

Wont be surprised if we are 0-3 at all. Not to worried at this stage but if we have a serious injury or two, we could be in real strife.

When do you get worried biffboy? I'll tell you I would like to have a least one win on the board after 3 rounds, maybe you should give points of advice about your club rather than others.. Well I'm fairly certain after seeing you blokes yesterday you won't be challenging for top 3. Which is great to see.

If we go 0-4 we will be really worried. It goes without saying that we would love to atleast pinch 1 of the first 3 but so far we have lost by a total of 15 points to 2 teams who will be around the mark so no panic stations yet.

Biffboy you are kidding yourself, Speaking to a few people from Ramblers they aren't very happy at all. Fidge handing the Board to Liam O'neill at 3/4 time, and saying you figure it out is Appauling. it's Quite fun watching your trainwreck of a club Implode from the other side of the road.

No results on sporting pulse as of yet, so I'll take a guess that the chooks got up? As there's normally someone from Mannum on here by now after a win.
