To be fair it hasn't been entirely ignored.

As has been said over and over, given the near perfect conditions and given the "historic" (or just plain novelty) nature of the game, so it should have gotten a standout crowd. But by a significant factor. It didn't.

I'll leave it at that, lest I fall foul of the whinge police.

It has been ignored because the statistic is incorrect.

On Saturday, 9 June, 2012 North Adelaide 11.6 (72) def. Norwood 10.11 (71) at Prospect Oval (crowd: 4,134).

And that game was telecast live on ABC TV. It was actually the biggest Saturday afternoon crowd in the SANFL in 2012. So what did the mental giants at the SANFL do in 2013. Not only did they schedule North vs Norwood at Prospect as the ABC TV game of the day they scheduled it at the same time as the Crows were playing at Footy Park.

Obst reported for incident with the Poorpuss?

He'd be close to his games limit too, wouldn't he?

I would be very, very surprised if he were reported for that. It happens 10 times a game albeit not with the resulting injury.

Yes, 4250 is greater than 4,134. But 4,134 is bigger than the 4,015 crowd for yesterday's game as reported earlier in this thread by PhilH. It was also the figure that was announced at Prospect Oval yesterday. I don't know where you got your 4,250 figure from.

Well, that there's a "dedicated" thread is hardly a revelation, but I suspect there's plenty of room over there to discuss content ratios too Boon. Or whatever else may or not be "worthy" discussion for that matter. Works both ways, does it not?

Enough said (well, I hope so anyway.)

Looks like I jumped without checking the facts in my response too, so apologies and thanks for the correction there RIG. :)

That's a good thing. I was given several pies and pasties on the way out. :D made the day thoroughly worthwhile along with the. Free Sunday mail

Can't say i will be rushing to a Crows reserves game again unless a mate gets the call up to top up. Can't see them making the top 5.

Disagree. I thought they were reasonably okay, with a couple of questionable decisions...

Michael Avon had a couple of moments where he tried to take control of the game with over zealous officiating, again...

The crowd was 4,015. Does that mean only 15 North supporters turned up? After all the Crows promised to attract 4,000 supporters.

I know the Crows said they would get an extra 4000 but taking that spin and bs away it's a good crowd by North. If they were playing a real team with a reasonable supporter base ( say Glenelg) that is like a 6000 crowd.
