Round 3 Discussion

Postby valleys07 » Tue Apr 01, 2014 1:29 pm

Well.

Who has managed to avoid all of Walker, Mitchell, Fyfe, Rockliff and now Barlow- all missing games before round 3!

I have fortunately missed these players, but have some other concerns.

Who is on the trade table? Your studs and spuds?

Chat away..

With Gary Ablett and Scott Pendlebury out for a month they have to go. Cant afford to keep them.

I'm just pissed that I didn't select one of them...

I've got Swan and he needs to go. Also got Pav who might survive the cull. And Rohan is giving me nothing.

Two of my best have been D Swallow and M. Murphy. Id say Sandi and Beams too but id assume everyone has them.

As we approach round 3 my team is far from settled but in a stroke of luck I've drawn the bottom ranked team in Hogg I, the bottom ranked team in Hogg Champions and the second bottom ranked team in Hogg Elite (I'm the bottom ranked team in that league!) :-BD

I have Mitchell but there are other areas of the ground that need attention. Missed out on Hurn, Barlow, Fyfe, J Martin though so not all bad news. Havent scored any points for two weeks and that is bad news.

Rohan is a shit truck. Gets **** all possessions then misses easy shots for goal ACK.

Clarko has said Mitchell will play tomorrow night (but Hodge won't)

Collingwood website says Pendlez likely to face Geelong this weekend also.

2 Corrective trades for me this week:

Suckling > Swallow

Webster > Georgiou

My Rucks have done me over big time.
Went with Sandi and Ryder and as they are injury prone i thought to save a trade when the injury inevitably came during the season i would go with Thurlow (RUC/FWD) on the bench and Dixon in my FWD line thus allowing Dixon to slip into ruck for a week or two if required. Of course none of this faaaarken works when Ryder and Dixon are both out.

2 sideways trades already from me and my strategy is also faaarked
Dixon to Zorko
Ryder to Hickey/McIntosh
