All batsmen get the sinking feeling when getting out cheaply, but to wait a day and a session to get out on the field; only to go first ball must magnify that feeling. Nice reflexes by Cook to catch out Ganga.

74
50
116*
44*
136*

420 RUNS
AVE 210.00
has now batted nearly 15 hours since last dismissed
5th innings in a row he has made top score
6 innings in succession is the record by George Headley

Was 9//229
Chanderpaul and Colleymore put on 58 for the last wicket

It would be safe to say he is the best batsman in his team
Watching him this series reminds me of how Allan Border used to bat
against England when the Poms used to beat Australia.

Nows its KPs turn

The 136* was a Continuation of the 44*no.

KP last ball of the day plays an irREBsponsible shot
Do people still think he bats for himself ?
HOWEVER
Having taped the dismissal I must say it was a poor umpiring decision.
The ball missed the bat by about 3 inches
The commentator also made comment about that as well.
ROBBED !
Ironically the batsman at the non strikers end was Andrew Strauss
Im sure STRAUSS knows how KP feels about shocking umpiring decisions.

England has WON the 4th Test to take the series 3 - 1.
The punters who Smashed the Price of the Draw into $1.25 Before the Start, Banking on the Rain Preventing enough time for a Result, Had there Fingers Burnt (or Frostbitten if in Eng) when the Ground Staff By Reports did a Miraculous job in getting the Ground Ready for the Last day and then the Windies INEPT Batsmen(Exept Chanderpaul) GIFTED England an Easy last session run chase to Stroll to Victory.
W.I. 287 and 222 LOST to Eng 400 and 3/113.

Shiv Chanderpaul was Last man out for 70 in W.I. 2nd innings bringing an end to a Period of Almost 18 Continuous Hours at the Crease without Losing his Wicket.
An AMAZING Statistic is that Chanderpaul is the ONLY Batsmen in Test History to Bat for More than 1000 Continuous Minutes (16hrs 40mins) without Getting out AND He has done this 3 TIMES.
His longest Period without Being Dismissed is about 25 Hours.  Thats more than MAL Batted in his entire Carreer.
Also Chanderpauls Top score of 70 now Equals the Record of Consecutive Top Scores in an Innings. Now shares with George Headley.

Chanderpaul 446 runs @ 148.66 for series =D> =D> =D> =D>

Pieterson 463 runs @ 66.14 for series :-k :-k

Correction:

PRIOR a star batsman (he is no test match 'keeper) did you watch where he would take the ball in his gloves Mal??

Barely teh same place twice lots of takes high up in the hands...he is not a very consistant taker/catcher of teh ball....I'd go as far to say G Jones is no worse than him.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
