EPW Adelaide - June 30

Postby MightyEagles » Mon Jun 04, 2007 11:02 am

A huge point of interest for EPW Adelaide’s next show GROUND ZERO is the 8-Man Tag Team Main Event. The team of ‘Jag’ Hartley Jackson, Bruce ‘Havok’ Mills, ‘Dirty’ Dick Donovan and their manager/lawyer Benny English will take on Commissioner Tom Chocolate’s team of Damian Slater, Jayson Cooper, CHANNEL 10 and MMM Radio personality Mark Aiston and ‘The Maniac’ Wayne Mattei.

It’s well known both Jag and Havok have been involved in Australian wrestling for over a decade and both own a 20% share in EPW Adelaide. In the past they have both used this power, with the help of their lawyer Benny English, to sway things their way behind the scenes… and they’ve done it again!

Mr. English has managed to set the rules of the 8-Man Tag Match at GROUND ZERO. Instead of all 8 men out at ringside from the start of the match, only 2 men will start out at ringside. At regular intervals another member of a team will come down to ringside and become the legal man in the match, replacing his tag partner currently in the ring, who will then go to their set corner where they can be tagged in as per normal. A huge advantage could be gained in a 2 on 1 situation, something of which we here at EPWAdelaide.com are sure that Mr. English has thought of!

Stay tuned for more information on GROUND ZERO as it becomes available

Info from epw adelaide website.
This show will take place at Crosgrove Hall on June 30. Get tickets early as they will be in high demand after what happened at the last show.
More as it comes to hand.

I'll be going, after a day at the footy. It will be hard for them to top the previous show, but it should still be good.

Just read that there will be a big show at Thebarton Theatre in August featuring some Aussies and some international talent (possibly Billy Kidman, Masato Tanaka and Kid Kash).

My 4 are sitting safely on the fridge at home.
I might be easier to find this time ME as I'll be sitting in the front row with the Mrs and 2 kids and my son will have a WWE belt and EPW hat on.

Wouldn't be able to as they're pretty strict about any cameras getting in there and mine does video as well as stills.

Yeah I took a couple of shots with my camera phone last time but camera phone's don't work very well in low lighting. It was a waste of time.

wedgie, i think if you asked them before the show & told them they'd be put up on the site etc, you may be able to do it that way, i've met one of the wrestlers as he works at the bay, perhaps if he's there (should be said he would be) we could talk to wayne (maniac) and see

Perhaps we could talk about it tomorrow night, IM bringing the whole family along and I'll even be sober as I start work the next day at 8am, can't wait for it, the son has his EPW hate and his WWE championship belt all polished and ready to go, sad part about it is he doesn't even like WWE but there's no choice in Australia when it comes to merchandise.

yes we'll talk & try & get things organised as for the merchandise if tna has a website (i presume they would) you may be able to order & pay by american express money order, at least thats what you could do with the wwf (when it was called that) in the 1980's & 1990's (yes i followed wrestling when it wasn't cool) 8) 8)

Already suss'd out the TNA website months ago, don't mind forking out over $30 for a Tshirt but I do have an issue with paying $60 for postage of it. :(

The son's fired up, kicked a goal from a screamer this morning, then North v West then the wrestling, he's polishing his championship belt now. :D
Be interesting to see what Mrs Wedgie and the daughter think of it when they go tonight.

Was a good show last night, not as good as the last show. The middle 2 matches were a bit slow to get into for me. Met Bayman there last night.
