Entertainment is subjective.
Weightlifting most certainly requires skill. It's very technical and precise.

Not everyone can kick and catch a footy, because it's a skill. Not everyone can hit and bowl a cricket ball. Then add in all the attributes to be good at it. Strength, endurance, agility, hand/eye coordination and courage and you have a sport.
