Listing Tylor as "missing injured" counts as being in a premiership team?!?

Worth starting that debate in the cricket forum... For what it's worth, The Aussie XI which had that amazing run of wins (starting in Tassie) are the greatest Test team.... anyway, as I said before, a flag is a flag....giffo wrote:This could go on for ever and ever. A financially strong club will usually also be strong on field, watch out for North this year and for years to come. But comparing era's, come on. Is Pontings eleven as good as the Invicibles? Would they beat Clive Lloyd's West Indies? Statistics can be bent and objectivity is up to the individual. But none the less, good post.

JamesH wrote:What nobody has mentioned is that many of the early SAFA(SANFL) premierships did not actually exist. The premiership teams were decided retrospectively. Regular rosters & league tables were not introduced until the 1890s
An example is Norwood DID NOT win 6 premierships from 1878. The papers of time only note that Norwood had the best record of the season..... no trophy/flag was awardered or even mentioned. Norwood REAL premiership tally is much lower than they claim.
Therefore some flags are worth more than others
