NSW have a heap of snails in their line up plus they dont bat too deep

With O'Keefe at 8 (averages close to 30) and Copeland at 9 (first class average of 20 and one FC ton) they are one of the deeper batting line-ups in the country.

Copeland's been batting at 7 for most of the season...

Pink ball is softer than a red ball , thus harder than norMAL hit boundaries along the ground as well

NS crawling 4/108 [39]
Botha 3/27 [18]
Botha throwing down the gauntlet to the New South Welshmen
Split Nevill and Carters then its the bowlers left [the bowlers made 42 between them in the first dig]

BIG call by WHUFC about Carters

This season

Games 2 + 3 he could not make the team
At this point his average was about below 30
Then Warner, Clarke and Smith played against England
Carters was promoted to opener , and from that point has improved outa sight

154 [316]
67[118]
33[89]
100[196]
15[21]
4[22]
42[69]
104[210]
37[132]

NS have scorched to 4/126[50]
Carters 76[157]
Peter Nevill a classical 2 [40]

This mob really need Steve Smith and Michael Clarke in the line up for the rest of the season

Perfectly well and I dont think they will go for it. Nev looks more than happy to play it out.
Perhaps they will tee off later but I doubt it

So you obviously believe the only way to chase the runs is by throwing the game away by trying to get the runs in 10 overs?

I thought you might have actually learnt something from Qld run chase.
