-5 for every over not bowled......that'll get it back to 90 pretty quick.

i know that it is in the rules that they can do it, but they rarely seem to enforce the rules if they bowl more than 80 overs in 6.5 hours

Best way to slow scoring is to take wickets. Bring the field up and make Watson hit over the top

Its not that simple but with the field back the Aussies can knock it around all day. Dont reckon we are in any hurry to declare

harsh critic

just made a 32 ball 40 and hit a few sixes, of course he was going to hole out sooner or later.

good knock by watto, they are obviously trying to put the foot down now

Tend to agree

Watson isn't the smartest cricketer getting around and it ended up an ordinary shot

But I wouldn't take to much into that innings.

For him to bat like that he obviously had a license to swing and at the end of the day if he averages 40 at 6 plus his his bowling he will be close to the best all rounder in cricket atm

well i didnt see you complain about the ones he was hitting out of the park jim

live by the sword, die by it

those are exactly the sorts of innings that are not good enough at number 3, but can be invaluable at 6, especially if it allows him to bowl more

It's Clarke and Boofs style, they want the game moving forward at a huge rate all the time, especially considering there could be abit of rain about today.
