This only works if we find a decent no 3 so when Watto comes in the pressure is off and ha can go at the bowling . For me Watto is still better at the top of the order as he is better against the quicks than the spinners and the new ball is easier for him to get hold of than the old one the way he plays .[/quote]
all good points, i tend to agree with you in the short term, but finding a number 3 should be our priority as it is definitely the weak link in our team at the moment, now that rogers and smith seem to have established themselves and are going well.
or watto could just start living up to his potential instead of giving us glimpses every now and then, because he could be the most destructive batsman in world cricket if he pulls his finger out. dont get me wrong, on current form i still think he gets his place in the team, and i know we have been saying that for years but i still think he can do it.
