has coombes been playing the last few years? havent seen or heard much about him in the last few years. certainly a good in for them if he hasnt been playing recently.
Beat the whites of eggs with a pinch of salt until stiff...Continue beating, gradually adding sugar, vinegar and vanilla, until of thick consistency.

I think it will be a good test for both sides to see where they are at....Cove losing to Reynella obviosuly places questions on their reputation and the Bombers went down to Vale but beat Valley's........

To win the Bombers would love the rain and a bigger oval to stop their bigger blokes....playing on that backyard they call an oval certainly won't help our runners.....

I'm sure Mexican will agree that if I give first use to our runners out of the ruck then we'll be ok...

Maybe if the brighton ruckman was playing C grade he might get first use but highly unlikely!

Jono - (Hard Ball Gets ) - Vick best rover in league, not sure about coombes, dont rate bevan for a hard ball get & Reavill plays wide but if young White is playing twos then there must be someone, sources tell me that this was the problem with Reynella

Could that be Cove's problem?

No hard strong bodies? Are they all receivers?

Your right Reynella beat them in close...It is definatly something they have to work on but they have a month of hard footy against quality sides to do this....White is in and under but not a strong body....I reckon they'l improve in this area over the next month against the quality sides because they will learn the top sides won't give them space....Have to wait and see starting with tomorrow

Coombes is playing A's in the forward pocket been kicking some small bags in the 2's gets his spot and Dan Schneyder and 'the Ferrari' Jordy Colquhoun come in from the 18's for their second and first games. Whitey has family issues and misses though i think the coach over looks exactly how much he works under the packs should be a permant A grader yet is struggling to find game time under rated player at the Cove works very hard and is one of the toughest little guys around. Which is what we need apparently......

Will be interesting to see if we learn our lesson from the Reynella game and not play like we are playing Hackham and falling into bad junior footy habits (Chasing kicks, Not working hard back into defence)

Backyard oval???? Obviously its small but Brightons oval isnt that much bigger?? Are these excuses already from your boys other teams find ways around using their runners on our Oval it isnt hard maybe you like to hide out on the wings chasing easy kicks on the bigger ovals Hotdogs? Is it true though that you guys san the song after you beat us in a Trial match????

Is that score the highest Div 1 score ever then? Christies are woeful anyways they never offer a contest against the top 8 sides.

Very interesting discussions re SFL and Amateur footy- considering I heard a rumour in regards to Edwardstown discussing a shift from the amateur ranks to join the SFL: Anyone who can confirm or comments??

By what rules does the sfl play under, is it afl or their own version??? after talking to 1 of our umpires after the game yesterday he told me that you can dive on the ball and hold it in because its local footy not AFL. yet when the AFL changes a rule so does sfl! are all umpires on same page??

I watched the Edwardstown VS Goodward Saints game today and being that these 2 sides were at opposite sides of the tables Goodies would destroy all sides in the SFL but i still think that townies showed enough to say that they would still beat all the sides in the SFL as well. I doubt that Morphett Vale would beat Towns and they are sitting last in Div 1 if they jumped over and kept players they would be hard for anyone to beat.

And anyone that thinks that a SFL side would beat a DIV 1 side are only pulling themselves and their clubs egos. From what i saw today even townies would beat all the SFL sides and they are sitting last. Morphett Vale wouldnt win many games up their if any. And Goodie Saints full tilt would run rings around Morphett Vale they have guns all around the field no week links at all just shows that trial results count for nothing.

Your a joke Tight_Lines, stop bagging the SFL!

M.Vale would give alot of teams a run if not beat them, i dont see how these D1 teams could be that much better than the top 2 or so teams in the SFL.

Would love to see M.Vale and the D1 Premiers face off after the season, but obviously not going to happen. Even if Emus lost it wouldnt be by that much and it wouldn't be a flogging like you seem to think so.
