Yeah for sure. Should be a great game I think, and as you said very important in the context of the season - probably the most important game of the year thus far for both sides, especially going into the half way mark of the season. I'm glad its at our home ground!!

How has Phil neagle been playing over the last few weeks?

Yeah he might get a bit of a razz up from the supporters on the sidelines, but all in good fun. He is a good bloke, and I know all the guys that played with him respected him quite a bit, so will be good for a few of our boys to go up against him.

I guess the chops worked Barta? BOG, not bad!

Good win by the A's and B's. Neither side really hit their straps but still managed to get over the line. Now the boys can look forward to the second half of the season and have a crack at GG and Blackfriars up at the Valley. Can't wait..

Was a great A grade game on Saturday between HV and Heccies - nice and tight on the scoreboard, and a very free-flowing game, with some great skills. B grade should have won by a lot more, but played pretty ordinary football. Will be interesting for the return leg late in the season for both grades!!

mate the grapes are sour when u guys get 7-8 soft free kicks in front of goal. oh well that pretty much has shot our chances of the double chance in september. we'll just have to get there the hard way.we will upset a few teams in the finals- i reckon the top three sides have jus about written us off as a genuine threat, but we are still yet to put a 4qtr effort together this yr. we are slowly but surely gettin there- nothing like having a form peak when it really matters, finals time.
golden grove to beat blackfriars this week!

Is Danny McCann still running around for Lockleys? If so, how is he going?

You get used to umpiring like that in this grade. I also think GG will get up this week. If GG and BL have written you guys off you just may upset them. I know we wont take you guys or anyone else for granted. Had we of kicked straight the umpiring would not of even mattered. I do believe both your sides were very well coached and had a good game plan. Say gday to Neagle for me.
