2012 SANFL GRAND FINAL TV COVERAGE SUNDAY 7TH OCT, 3:30PM EDT

Venue : Royal Exhibition Hotel, rooftop bar, accessible by beer garden (same place as the last few years)

Won't be there, because I'll be flying from Syd to Adelaide to watch it live. But good on 'em for doing it, again.

Yeah, watched it there when I lived in Canberra yonks ago.

Not up against the NRL this year, either.

Same pub again this year. Rooftop bar means you can still enjoy the warm weather while watching the game.

Bells Hotel in South Melbourne is on the SANFL website, as is the Talbot Hotel in New Town TAS and the Odin Hotel in Balcatta WA.

ABC1 didn't replay the Preliminary Final at it's usual time and isn't scheduled to show the GF either (according to my IQ).

I'm sorry to say (if you didn't set your machine) that it was indeed broadcast nationwide at 2:00am on Thu morning 10/10/13. This is 30 mins earlier than the standard broadcast time of 2:30am (no doubt to keep a consistent finish time with the GF broadcast being about 30 mins longer). I didn't get around to changing my block booking on my DVR. So I torched all of the intros and pick up the game in the 7th minute of the 1st quarter, but at least I've got all of the post-match celebrations!
