Just a bit of feedback on the show - my missus went to the same show in California in September last year - she said it rocked - even though its only Axl and Dizzy from the original - apparently they sound as good as they ever did. I am definately going - will be front row - should be a good show!
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

Hasn't it been cancelled yet?

Awesome show ... Missed Rose Tattoo at the beer line (made Norwood Oval look good), got to see most of Sebastian Bach (although missed "18 And Life" - Spewing!!), and was in amongst it up near the front for Axl .. I mean G'n'R.

Axl generally deserves all the crap he cops imho, but there's no denying he still puts on a great show ... As noted by FC on the night Wedgie would have been spewing, as we even saw a guest performance from some dude from Trailer Park Boys (name escapes me).

Perhaps the biggest lowlight however was that they/he didn't play "Civil War" :( ... All in all though, a top night out!! :D

Yep top show, but I would have liked to have heard "Crazy". Too many guitar solos, probably coulda fit in about 3 more songs. Best song of the night by a long shot was November Rain. The guy from Trailer park Boys was the one with the coke bottle glasses, was his name Rosco or something??

I thought that was his name but didn't want to sound stupid(er) by getting it wrong.

I'm still a bit peeved they wasted time with him .. All good and well for TPB fans who loved it, but most of us paid to see GnR.

Wasted time with an international superstar who actually is popular this decade not 2 decades ago?
Would have been the highlight of the show IMHO, not sure why you'd be peeved.
It'd be like paying money to go see John Farnham and having Bruce Springsteen rock up on stage for one set!

Bubbles song was quite funny. Licquer and whores

Agree, too many guitar sollo's with no drum solo. Even Dizzy had a piano solo.
Great show, Sabastian put on a good show too. Great way to start with Slave too the Grind.
Everyone who bagged the show before it came to town we're way off the mark.
Money well spent

Well he stars in Canada and is idolised in America, Asia, Australia and Europe because of it.
Admittedly Im not sure of his fan base in Africa or the Antartic though.
Certainly known in a few more places (and bigger ones) than Silverchair or Powderfinger!

Wedgie, does this not appear as though the time wasted on an 'international superstar' was time wasted on someone not playing in G'N'R? It seems to me that way.
