Thomas, Blee, Salter, Stewart and Pfieffer cut by the Power, you'd think they won't play SANFL finals, well, they'd be stupid if they did.

Crouch and Porps for bloods were rules out weeks before the finals and yet they were fit enough to play for the crows???

I hope we dont have our GF before the AFL - we will get no one to a GF if thats the case

Thomas and Pfiefer WILL be playing finals for Norwood and that is NOT stupid !
Any of those players who have not played much AFL this year could attract attention by playing a scorching finals series.
I believe Richmond are interested in Thomas if not I expect him to stay with Norwood.

Why for Salter, Stewart and Pfieffer? There AFL careers are just about shot and they are playing at the clubs they were before Port showed any interest in them.
Thomas and Blee might get a look-in at other clubs.

You're right about the first three, but they may see themselves as a chance somewhere else so probably won't put themselves at risk of injury

Their best chance of being picked up is by having a cracker final series.
Terlich's stocks rose massively after last years finals series.

Exactly Jim. No point in wrapping yourself in cotton wool. Especially Stewart. Would need a huge finals series, especially now Johnston is out.

My mail has no change to GF date going forward. With the reduced games, SANFL will be a fortnightly competition in 2014.

This is a line in the sand issue for me.

It goes against one of the main reasons given (by the Eagles anyway) for voting yes - i.e. the concern about a big drop in media coverage if the AFL Reserves went elsewhere.

Imagine trying to get some media exposure if Crows or Power were in a Prelim Final that week.

Personal choice of the player IMO. Look at Will Young broke his leg playing for Norwood.

Yep. As dumb a decision (if it happens) as any you'll see from the SANFL, and that is saying something.

Stevenson has also been cleared to play for the Redlegs but not Renouf.
