After extensive reviews of the playing list, the following players have been informed that they will not be with the Power in 2014:

Senior-listed players NATHAN BLEE, NICK SALTER, DANIEL STEWART and MATT THOMAS along with rookies DANNY BUTCHER, JUSTIN HOSKIN and DARREN PFEIFFER.

Veteran forward Brett Ebert will also not be part of the 2014 playing roster after retiring last month.

Matt Thomas perhaps a bit unlucky, probably get another opportunity elsewhere.

Surprised to see Hitchcock made the cull.

Dumbfounded that he still is on the list. Provided nothing at AFL level.

Stewart to St Kilda? Got to be kidding. He isn't up too AFL standard.

Danny Butcher to Div8R ammos is the hot tip, although he would probably struggle for a kick down there aswell
Wonder how long his equally soft and poor skilled brother stays on a list for

How the f**k does Hitchcock retain a spot on the Powers list while they get rid of Thomas?? :? Dumbfounded indeed Heater. I hope Thomas gets an opportunity elsewhere

Jeez, that Sellar is mighty unlucky. He looked like a very promising type. ;)

Can someone find my prediction about Sellar before he even got drafted by the Crows? Am bays has it bookmarked most likely. ;)

Didn't you join this site in 2009? bit hard to make a prediction after the event.... ;)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

IRISHMAN Niall McKeever was among four players cut by the Brisbane Lions on Monday as the club prepares for the NAB AFL Draft.

Rookies Callum Bartlett, Stephen Wrigley and Richard Newell were also delisted following the Lions' post-season review

Will we see any of these in the SANFL next year ?
Would expect Lower to return to Norwood if not relisted

Very surprised that Nathan Blee was delisted.

He was in the side, that was finals bound, only 5 weeks ago and seemed to be right behind O'Shea, Pittard and Broadbent as the running half-back / midfield. I know I say "right behind" those guys as they are in the side, but he seemed very good back up for that position as well as midfield run with roles.
