Excellent question Booney, but the question I have is WHO are we meant to replace them with? No one has come forward with an alternative board!!

If that bloke for the Australian Motoring Enthusiast Party can hold a senate seat and hold the balance of power on future legislation that effects the whole of Australia I don't see why fester can't be the Director at the Norwood Football Club and make decisions for the good of football in this state. However I'd suggest if the SANFL went to fester with the same deal they went to Tripodi with fester would drop his pants and bend over just like Tripodi

I'd make sure I'd get more than $50,000 and would only vote in the best interests of Norwood, and if other clubs couldn't survive by themselves, stiff shit!!

As for my mate, in the last month or so he's said some things and sent some texts that honestly have been pretty hurtful. BUT he's my mate and I love him. If I need to be his sounding board for his venting cool, but eventually he'll be told to shut up and make a choice re footy. I'm confident our starship away from Norwood is just as strong.

I can't see how any Norwood member could ever trust their board again and find it staggering your happy to keep a board in charge of NFC who has constantly lied to its members thru out the process. Make the most of it. There's always debate about whether flags won after 1990 count. I've always thought it unfair to say that e.g. Central's 9 premierships are less valuable than flags won before 1990.

But wherever you are in this debate, I think few would doubt that flags won after 2013 are meaningless.

Port Adelaide may be able to revive their juniors in the amateur league.
How will this effect the SANFL clubs whose zones will include part of the Port Adelaide area? Can imagine they'll have an uphill battle trying to get these players to their clubs, especially if a kid is a Port supporter. No doubt there will be some pissing in pockets to these players that they can still represent Port Adelaide.

How would that work? Amateur league does not run junior comps

exactly, unearthing potential young guns is something clubs put many hours every weekend into, kids don't fall through the gaps like they did 15-20 years ago
