Bit of interest is developing for a State Men's Senior Team with as many as 5 Na Finnians rumored to be keen. If the other 6 teams send 3 of their best players each that would make 23. Sounds promising

Ricky Wisemen had a great second half of the year to finish runner up.

Brad Dittmar stole the show though taking home the 'Fisher/Dittmar' medal for 2012 and Most Improved for 2013.

Hopefully a few of the Port boys can make it onto the state trip for the first time in the clubs history.

A few would definately learn a great deal from the experience and provide some great entertainment as well.

I believe Clay has actually gone back to back to back, Cash.
And are you going to commit to the State Men's side or not? If they're short on numbers I'm sure you could get the 3rd placed runner up in the U21 medal, Rhys Holloway, to go along with you.

Can you not read Lutz.
Yeh well if Toasty messaged those involved then yes, hopefully he threw your name up as well

Apologies, I have been quite tired this week. Hopefully I am more attentive to detail for the next week.

Would seem odd to not have a Men's representative side, hopefully can get off the ground.

Cash and Lutz, i received an email from Steve Francis that reads:

"I haven't heard anything directly or indirectly from anyone from Flinders O'Neills or Port Districts to confirm if anyone is interested.

So, can the reps from the clubs please contact me, or Tony or Matt to confirm interest."

So if any of your Port lads are keen, perhaps send an email ASAP to Steve Francis at sfrancis06@gmail.com !

In regards to the state trips, they are awesome fun and i highly recomend them! You also learn/develop more as a Gaelic footballer in that 1 week than you would in an entire State league season IMHO.

Really hope Big Bad Brad Dittmar can find room in his busy schedule to make the trip as he would be a great asset to the team

Starts late October on Wednesdays and if there is enough teams there will be 2 divisions. Probably need 10 teams for that.

You will need more than 10 teams to make 2 divisions...Crikey! That's only 5 teams per division - so 1 bye every 5 weeks, Mickey Mouse stuff. If you get 16 teams then fair enough.

Rather than a bye week perhaps you could play a team from the other division who would be in the same situation. Therefore you would play each team in your division twice for points and you would have two games not for points that are contested against a team from the other division. This would equate to a 10 week minor round and the top 4 from each div could then play in a two week final series 1 v 4, 2 v 3. With the 5th placed div 1 team playing against the Dingoes um oops i mean against the 5th placed div 2 team as a curtain jerker for the GF. Therefore you would have a beautifully balanced 12 week, dual pitch, even in theorey competition....

Let me know at what point i lost you Harry ;)

Thursday September 26th 6.30pm @ St. Marys the SA U/18 Minor team are looking for a game of Gaelic against an All-star mens outfit made up of members of the 7s league and State league clubs. It will be 15 on 15 and on a full pitch. Happy to have a fair mix of all abilities to help the boys prepare for the unpredictability of the Australasian Championships.

Please reply, PM me or message me either via phone or facebook to register your interest for you or any chunks of blokes from the various clubs. Keeping in mind that 12 or 13 of these boys are going to be looking for teams in the coming summer and have talent to burn...Im not sure if anyones ever used this quote but "These are the boys of tomorrow!!!" :D :D
