if the Willunga demons win this years premiership at home they will surely be unofficially the greatest team over the last 10 years outside of the AFL. I mean think of the success for such a period and think of the players
Haskett, Cox, Portlock, Burdett, Hams, Steele, Bomber, Miegel, Paterson, Wadewitz, Roberts, Alexopolous, Baxter..the list goes on. all of these players are superstars and Id reckon south Adelaide would be a far better side of such players wanted to play for them

No disrepect to any of the names mentioned but werent they at SAFC or other league clubs at some point ??

Not many tipsters would have picked this upset especially with welsh back from injury. Can there be another upset tomorrow with strath to beat the creek$? Let's hope. Have heard rumors that the creek have a few talls out injured & they have picked there oldest veteran Tim follett for his first a grade game this year. These tales happen quiet often down the road will wait & see, Should be a close game in the local derby again. The winner to play the bays at compass.

I picked the result, and my $1.30 about Willunga winning the flag AT HOME now looks generous.

My bet is that @bjernest isn't even from wfc. Seem he/she always complains about me supporting my boys and stating the opinions of a true club man. And if he/she is from.wfc why does he/she constantly question if I'm from the dees
So much tomfoolery

And jimmy there's no harm in having a favourite player

In conjunction with the Vh times team of the year, the editor of the gsfl budget is doing a "people's choice" team of the year which will go in the prelim budget. You can post here or on the Facebook page (status will be posted soon)
Name your 6 forwards, 6 mids and 6 backs all in positions. Don't worry about a bench, the excess will be named on the pine. Get cracking I think he'll need about 15 plus responses to make it happen.
You can love football, but it wont always love you back!

Fwd: Carroll, welsh, mcgregor
Hf: portlock, iljcesen, Davis neale
C: j. Wilson, munn, warmington
Hb: derham, Weckert, wendolbourne
Fb: m. Wilson, t. Brown, haskett
1st ruck: perrie, cousins, hodge
A few gun players just missed out e.g kellock, m.tucker, rugolo, pinyon, perry, Boyd & simounds.
I'm guessing with billy nelly picking the team it will be loaded with encounter bay players.

You're kidding arn't you, Kellock would be in the top 5 or 6 players in the league for what he's done. Warmington on a wing phhtt, couldn't run out of sight in a snowstorm, great forward but, and you missed the rucks kickittome, where's Perrie, the Assoc medalist? And you missed him too fiftymetre penalty, you boys still doing mad monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday, sunday repeat, repeat.

Absolutely spot on. I see you managed to squeeze 3 pongy players in, a ruckman that didnt get any possessions or contested marks against us and you couldnt sneak one of our lads in even though we finished 1 game out of the 5.

Credit for trying but start again
