How can we change our directors so that we can boot these clubs out next year?

Too late, even if they are only in for 1 year the damage will have been done.

I like many others are disgusted that the hardcore SANFL supporters that form the support base for the traditional clubs have been ignored.

It will be a very silent protest next year when none of us turn up to games.

Most of us once you add up memberships, merchandise, food, drink etc we would spend $1k pa at our clubs, even if only 100 people stop their support that $100k less coming onto the club.

But, but they are going to give us $50k per year and guarantee 4k crowds

When you get knocked out the finals and your players are gutted for missing an opportunity to win a flag (what they strive for). Or when an afl player on the equivalent money of a whole teams salary cap wins the Margarey then maybe you'll start to see the repercussions of your selfish weakness as the "guardians" of OUR competition.
Your decisions aren't justifiable otherwise you'd justify them. For $50,000 for f$&&@ sake!
I'll never attend the home ground of a yes voting club again, (with the exception of the reserves finals).
How can you fold so easily?
Shattered with football, shattered for football. I'm sure i'm not alone. How can you be so deaf to your members?
Cheats and corruption win.

Well said!!!

Except he forgot to mention that it is not JUST for $50,000. There is also the vague suggestion there might be a commercial TV deal.

My club voted yes to this sh!t without the slightest effort to consult with members. I will never again be a member of my club. Disgrace.

Come join a SANFL club that voted NO! ;)

What am I missing here?

Why the concessions for 2014 and then revert to another structure in 2015? Why not just be done with it and do it all next year?

Like every other decision in the past few months, this just makes no sense.

The proposal mentions $400 per game cap in "top ups". Is this in addition to a base salary?

Yep, nothing but tokenism by the club to keep the PB jumper. If it makes you feel any better the league is will soon be dead very soon at this rate so we'll be all in the same boat. But hey, as long as Sando and Hinkley are happy..

Where are all the Central and South fans calling for their President's heads??
Unlike the Crows vote which was 6-2, the Port vote WAS unanimous.
If I can sling it at my club, how about you keyboard warriors??

According to Keith Thomas, it was 7-1. No talk of who voted against.

I thought it was West? That was mentioned in the Advertiser at the time of the vote I think. Not sure if there has been a different vote since.

The more that don't rock up the more obvious it will be at those "annual reviews".

Even more powerful message would be if current "Yes" voting president/boards were voted out

Dumber question than "who are the voting members"

And just to clarify it was 7 YES - 1 NO, with Norwood being the NO vote.

Norwood voted NO based on the belief that Power were to be offered exact same deal as the Crows.
Is UK fan going to call a SGM at Central??
Or is he also "full of pish and wind"?
