wow!!! What a weekend!!! Still can't believe it...

The A's were unbelievable, that was the best we've played all year... Super effort by Damian and the lads... Dunks was BOG for me, can't believe know one ran with him.

The B's we were very frustrating. kicking 3.13 in the second half didn't help our cause.one player kicking 2.5 and and another kicked 2.6 and one out on the full... full credit must be given to GG, they were very good. Pressure all day.. But I felt after qtr time we certainly had more possession but obviously couldn't capitalise on our opportunities and we didn't hit the lead until about 10 minutes left in the game. Another great battle... Always played in great spirits. Good luck to them next year.

@johno, still can't work why I said that... never said it in my life. First time in a long time I was speechless....

ok ill will start with congrats to Plympton on there great win on sat worthy winners and deserve all the success that will come there way in the next few years.. to my boys I am so proud of what we achieved as a group this year no one gave us a chance to make the big day but we proved them wrong, the last 3 weeks just caught up with us in the end but in my honest opinion it didnt matter who played Plympton no one was going to stop them. Firstly I would like say thank you to the blodge f.c for the opportunity to coach the club 5 years ago I have loved every min that I have spent there met some wonderful people and was so proud to be coach. thank you specially to S.ryan and azza over the journey, also the many people that do a lot of work behind the scene that no one really notices. Im sure the club will find the right person to keep taking the club forward in the future.. thank you to harvs, ben schomann and tony khundt for there support as B grade coaches over the 5 years..

As much as I'd like to see someone like Payney coaching football at Smithfield I think he'd be looking at improving his cv and looking at grander options. He now opens up greater opportunities for himself and can thicken his wallet significantly by going up the divisions or going country.
Football and cricket at Smithfield are completely different identities so there's no aligning of the solar system there mate, it was an intelligent post though.

Apparently he'll be venturing out to taste some of south Aussies wines ;) and about 4-5 lodge players will be joining him on these winery tours

yeah behind the goals near the lawn bowls end

and depends on what payney wants if its cash then country
or if he wants to coach a decent side in div 2 that im sure he could take to div 1 then walkerville is the job

personally he should try for walkerville once you go country people forget who you are pretty quick and country football isnt where its at
