AFL Finals Week 1

Talk on the national game

AFL Finals Week 1

Postby Booney » Thu Sep 05, 2013 2:20 pm

Hawthorn v Sydney - Friday night

Geelong v Fremantle - Saturday

Collingwood v Port Adelaide - Saturday night

Richmond v Carlton - Sunday

________________________________________________________________________________________________

Hawthorn 28 points - 65,000 crowd
Geelong 33 points - Capacity crowd.... ( If it is Geelong v Collingwood prelim, will it be at Shi....err, Simmonds? Of course not. )
Collingwood 15 points - 70,000
Richmond 54 points - 90,000+

I honestly think the Collingwood/Port game will be the closest game of the 4 with Collingwood coming out on top at the end. I think Richmond will pump Carlton in the most one-sided game of the first week of finals.

Looking forward to Hawks/Sydney and Collingwood/Port the most.

Carn Ports!!

Unbelievable amount of hype around the Richmond game. You would think it was GF week the way their supporters are carrying on this week.

I think they'll choke.

Hawks/Cats/Pies will get it done by 18+ points.

You obviously haven't tuned in to Adelaide radio this week.
Apparently coll/port is the only game this weekend (and don't forget the constant drivel re the cows' mad monday and b&f fri night).

Hawthorn- 62

Geelong 78

Collingwood 3 on the basis that Port won earlier by Jmacs no at Port(35) so pies to win by his number there (3), it just makes sense. If i took this out of the equation i think Port will win comfortably

Most looking forward to Collingwood v Port match.
Don't like either side, but the sentimental appeal of JMac is hard to resist.
Hope Port takes it up to them.

Hawks by 20, Very good side
Cats by 17, will be closer than most are tipping
Pies by 70, going on the last months form it should be a blowout to the Pies
Blues by 20, hate the pricks but cant stand the Tiges either, would be rather ironic for the 9th placed side to knock them out
