Petrenko available for finals but unavailable for this week due to soreness.

Heard that many versions but the most common is that Patrenko will be ruled out of finals. Wouldnt be too comcerned anyway, he is far from a world beater

Ok. Just from crows updated web page tonight.

I agree with you and I think we'll be lucky to progress past North in an elimination. But I still think Collins and some other coaches are a bit unnecessarily psyched out by Centrals and fear them more than they should. We are not the force we were.

Hence why I think West & Norwood wont be trying too hard to win this weekend as a loss keeps Centrals along way away from them in the finals.

They definately dont hold no fear for us.
We will be going all out against North, still got to squeeze 6 or 7 back in, players will be going flat out to earn a finals spot

That's good news! 2011 he played the first final and then had to withdraw. His body does take a hammering and can understand if he can't play, but hopefully, given he may not pull on an Eagle jumper again, he can get through a finals campaign.

Interesting listening to his interview on 5AA last week, he wasn't too keen on playing against the Eagles if it had to come to that next year.

Go Westies, the more the better for the 'Dogs if they can get up at Unley. :D

West, with the double chance in hand, playing a possible first up finals opponent. Eagles should be treating this like qualifying final, so I expect it to be closer than the last two between these teams whichever way it goes.

With Rowntree and Dunstan out for the year another solid body in the midfield is more than welcome.

Petrenko may not dominate a game but I'd prefer him in the side than out of it any day!

Saw a tweet today from Petrenko saying he is not playing.

Only found out today I wasn't going to be playing for the eagles

Eagles told by the power they can name Campbell Heath in their team Thursday night, but if the power lose on Saturday, Campbell Heath has to be withdrawn from the Eagles team to play Sunday. This is S--T. What a way to treat a team that gives unselected AFL players an opportunity to play each week.
Come on next season, so we want have to put up with this selfish rubbish.
Naturally the Eagles told the power where to go, and will not select Heath this week!!!!!

Good. They shouldn't have selected Heath and Mitchell from about mid-season. Mind you, Heath has been better for us the last month or so than he was initially. Still, if the Eagles got a half season in to some one like Muirhead in that role, we would be a lot better off for the finals and for next year.

This is why the AFL Reserves coming in will be better. Whilst it won't be NO AFL in the SANFL it will at least be NO AFL in our SANFL teams. Which is better than now.
