Poor baby 3 out of 4 teams in finals only 1 makes GF. Given Ovingham has less than 1/4 of your resources that must be disappointing so ill send up some cheese to have with your whine. Leave your hatred at the door.

both teams are made up of guys that are mates and love the fact that they play our great game with there best mates
clubs can only play where they are told to but the fact both these clubs have a team that enjoy the mateship and the thrill of playing this great game is what everyone should be so proud of
of course I would like to see ovies win but at the end of the day I will be a happy spectator watching a bunch of blokes playing sport on a weekend instead of sitting in a pub waisting there time and there life
good luck to both clubs and remember guys ,its a game for the people, all people

As always at this time of the year there will be some very disgruntled people after selection. Modbury will be no different.
On the upside ......there was one spot that became vacant.......

And it was filled by another guy who enjoyed another win against GG.
Now a Grand Final against SMOSH.

Not the ideal situation.

Could be wrong, but I reckon last time Modbury played a GF at Hope Valley it ended up in a draw against TTG and I think TTG went on to win the replay? At least one side will have a happy moment from being at our ground after this week
If I could just stress to all 4 clubs playing at HV this week to please let as many of their supporters as possible know that it will cost $10 for adults, $6 concession, kids under 12 free. It's only ever a few, but we don't stand on the gate just so we can cop abuse for collecting money for the SAAFL. Thank you in advance!

Couldve been another less recently too around 2008 or 2009? Modbury v Ovingham - with Ovingham kicking the winning score with just seconds to go after being given a dubious free kick for out on the full?
Was that the Grand final where Garth Van Ristall did his best karate Kid impersonation?
