Can anyone shed any light on the overtime rules in regards to if time on is played? I've copied the following from the constitution and it is not mentioned.

7.7.6 In the event of a drawn match in any major round game in A Grade, Independent A Grade, Seconds, Thirds or Independent Colts except the A Grade and Independent A Grade Grand Final, the teams involved shall immediately play two further terms, each of 5 minutes duration at either end. If a winner has not been determined at the conclusion of the second term of extra time, then a final term will be played until such time as a “golden score” determines the winner. The teams shall alternate ends at each and every break.

Reckon it's been that way for a while. I remember playing a drawn under 15 semi-final 15 years ago under that format.

There was time-on played on the weekend which poses the question who was in front if the correct time was played?
Apparently a League official told the coaching staff that it would be 5mins without time on each end, which is the correct rule, but must have not informed the time keepers.
I would imagine that Loxton North are the winners out of this as it would take a huge effort for any team to come up after such a game. Also Waikerie would be extremely disappointed giving up a 4 goal lead at 3/4 time.

I know the 2 lads well and aren't the sort of lads who chase money. They are very happy at Waikerie, so you are clearly trying to stir the pot.

What the hell happened to Waikerie?
That's a surprise exit, even with Loxton's win from a couple of weeks ago.
Loxton coming good at the right time of the year - were Nickolls and Montgomery back?

Waikerie in front till last 30 seconds when a free kick was paid infront of goal for Loxton.

Both played. Nickolls quiet, Monty quiet till then end of full time when he took 2 match saving marks on the goal line.
Barmera would be licking their lips I would imagine

So, what do Waikerie take out of this season? Plenty of promise and expectation...

Seriously....... I wake up to reading another trauma about the poor WFC and how it's been dealt a harsh blow.... this is almost becoming too much to bear. One minute we bend the rules to suit and then we try to use the book to get over the line.... What ever happened on Saturday was the same for both sides.... WFC lost the game .... Get on with it
