ABC TV guide says R23 is West v Eagles. Disappointing, if not massively surprising, that this got the nod over Norwood v North given the latter's form.

It was either that game or Sturt v Central, mind you the latter would probably be more entertaining to watch.
The last game they would have considered would be the current worst team in the comp v the current best team in the comp.
The ABC don't do many things any good but their logic for the game they're showing is spot on in this case.

ABC picks TV game
SANFL then allocates rest to radio in consultation with stations.

A month ago Norwood v North may have been for the minor premiership.
not now

It is highly likely that the Eagles v West game will have double chance implications
for either if not BOTH parties.... right choice for mine.

I was kinda hoping North would be on the telly. Not sure I want to get up at 5.00am just to listen to them get smashed by Norwood

With the paps playing saturday night, will the SANFL/Bays consider moving the starting time back to 2:10 on saturday? Would make sense to me..

Makes more sense to leave as is as the Port game will start at least 15 mins after the Bay game finishes and it encourages people to stick around the club rooms and watch the power get thrashed making more money for the Bays.
Mind you the Power can't do much worse than their last finals game.

Well that makes more sense than what heater said!
All 4 games should just be players Sat arvo, maybe they wanted to accommodate Geelong and Freo fans?
Who knows wtf goes through the SANFLs head as its usually the opposite to common sense.
