Bickley would seem to be a logical target, alhough whether he'd be interested, and whether the AFC would release him is another story.

When Pyman was coaching South there was a massive player loss near the end of his tenure. Doesn't matter how good a coach you are, if no player wants to play under you the club won't be a success.

I thought he was the only AFC assistant not contracted for next year.

Would there be any other reason apart from more money that Collins would want to coach South?

New challenge?

Change in environment?

I would think the more money would've been a big enough motivator.

If we make the top 3 i believe that is the first time since 61/62 that we would've achieved this.

He took a pay cut this year and obviously wanted it to go back to where it was or possibly higher than prior to the pay cut.

I'm not having a shot at him there either just what i think his likely motivation is.

Interesting that Jarrod Cotton is on the ABC team today....and that they show his highlights and short coaching career straight after running the Ron Fuller story.

Found this quite curious too. Is he a regular on the ABC? Don't think I've ever seen him on there before.
