This appointment was doomed for failure. All South has done has filled Fuller's pockets over the last few years, same with Kevin Sheedy at GWS. These clubs should have gone with a younger coach that can relate to the players. A 50 year old plus coach pushing outdated ideals to men in there early 20's just doesn't work. Ready made replacements such as Kym Cobb or Clay Sampson should be given a go, can they do any worse???

Sampson got one year only and they then recruited Fuller who has done very little at double the co$t.....Sampson has continued coaching, is a Morphett Vale/SAFC lad which is where they should be sourcing players for the future!

be pretty disappointed if we go down the past player track again for a coach.
we need someone from outside our culture, some one with new ideas a, somone who can communicate with gen y.

from what I hear there are already quite a few who have expressed an interest which is great news. ;)

Get a better source KS? Sampson had 1 1/2 years before he got the arse. And he has been coaching Myponga in the GSFL for the last 3-4 years, they have not made finals.

Jarrod Cotton ?

No, no, no, he knows our Norwood secrets !

But seriously, The Panthers could do a lot worse than this bloke.
He sure turned things around for Norwood before 'Bass' took over the reigns.

And JC's 'ink' would fit right in at Christies.

No I'm not taking the piss. I'm not saying he can't coach , I'm just saying I don't want to watch my team play a negative shut down brand of football. Effective or not its sh*thouse to watch.

Who takes charge this week? Brett Backwell? Kym Cobb? Not sure who else is one of the assistants

Have heard Kym Cobb to coach this weeks game.

Certainly not saying he’s entirely responsible for this, but it’s just the sad fact.

I think anyone can be a successful coach if they have the cattle on the field to work with. Sadly South haven't for years and so has become the coaches graveyard.

You think so?
It's not the cattle, but how you herd them that matters.

So you don't watch Freo then and obviously you don't want them to win the premiership playing that 5hit shut down brand of football.
Reckon you might have picked 2 of the most least successful clubs just so you can whinge about everything they may or may not do
