Bidding war to begin between South and Glenelg IMO

Then off to South he'd go

The writing has been on the wall for a while, and Saturday was obviously the final nail. Game plan hasn’t worked this season, and unfortunately the club isn’t all that better placed than when he took over in 2010. Certainly not saying he’s entirely responsible for this, but it’s just the sad fact.

As a member of the club I support this decision by the board.

After 4 years it was obvious a change was needed, I have believed for a long while that doing nothing would have been more detrimental to the club.

I think anyone can be a successful coach if they have the cattle on the field to work with. Sadly South haven't for years and so has become the coaches graveyard.

Without some decent U18s coming through the club will never have any success, or even sustained competitiveness. Cant rely on imports and ressies players from other clubs.

Nope, despite Collo shopping himself around he should concenrate on South as they are likely to be the only serious bidder.

OR

He should just try to get into the AFL system with his salary demands which are too high for SANFL clubs.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Hey Bunton, I heard you & the board were interrupted last night with a letter from up to a dozen un contracted players saying if this wasn't dealt with they weren't coming back. Any truth??

Can't do much if you don't have the support of the players.

Clearly Ron hasn't which is disappointing.

It seems that too often at Noarlunga the head coach has been stymied by either players or administration.

4 x 100 point losses in a season says more about player effort than gameplan.

The South Adelaide losing culture continues. Maybe they should look at the players who haven't been willing to stand up and fight for the club. I reckon there's a fair few who should likely be moved along.....

What about the MICKAN man?
Reckon he could be the coach to take South to a flag.
Like Knuckles before him, a Westies bloke at South could equal success.
Get on to it Panthers!

It would be interesting to do a study on people who self-harm and see how many of them are South supporters...........
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

The only think I would say with certainty is that we'll be here discussing this all over again at some stage in the next 3 years...

If South get Collins ill never attend another game again. It's bad enough putting up with loss after loss. Even if he does improve the win loss ratio I refuse to watch my side play that sh*t brand of football he had west playing.
