No I was at the game, pity our paths did not cross, perhaps sometime we could have a shoot off then, only when you feel better.

Was at the game yesterday at Barossa.
The ground terrible but Willaston started with a 4 man forward line
and an 8 man back line. Defiantly didn't come to win and it showed.
Willaston are going to have to beat Nuri next week by 5 goals to make
finals.

Ango to finish the year on a high tomorrow, should relish the traditional Angaston surface, will be way to good for South.
Oh and South will probably be more interested in the 3 points from the game than the 2

Well that's another wasted year for Willaston.
Not sure if they got the right coach.
waving the white flag and making excuses for not making finals
two weeks before seasons end. Not a good look.

I seen a former President of the club doing cartwheels when he heard they didnt make it.
Lucky for him he can now concentrate on supporting his other beloved Gawler team.

Can anyone tell me about the on field antics that occurred during the under 15s game (Freeling v Gawler Centrals) on the weekend where parents entered the field of play? A fight or similar? Fines for the clubs? players etc?

Just a little push and shove after the siren, nothing serious. Parents only came into to grab their OWN kids, as umpires losing control of the situation. Coaches, Runners pulling players away while they just stood there.

Great to see 6 of the 9 BL&G clubs represented on the day (only Angaston, Kapunda and Nuriootpa not represented). Great weather this week, and 22C and sunny predicted for Saturday - should be great conditions. Will be great to see Tanunda and South trying to prove that you can win finals footy without a tried and proven A grade ruckman.

If you're not at South this Saturday, good luck to ya!!!

Great to Freeling finally having at least 2 teams in the finals. Been a while since the reserves had a go, good luck to them.

Also goes to show that clubs shouldn't be disenchanted by having a few lean years in a row - Freeling is a great example of this (will flow onto A Grade in a few years with locals) and if anyone remembers Willaston's juniors were struggling to field a side about 3-4 years ago and now both have made finals!

Good too see the boys getting a crack in the finals. Asking the older guys around the place it has been a long time between drinks for the Freeling Magoos. Hopefully 2 from 2 on the weekend
