JK wrote:Ok ... From the minute they ran our you could see the Dogs were "up" for the game, and they were in Norwoods face early with aggression, tight checking and strong tackling. They scored the first goal via an off the ball incident and subsequent free kick to Dutschke against Bode.

They lead 2.0 to 0.0 but probably could have had better reward for their efforts, as Norwood pegged that back pretty quickly.

There was a bit of spite in the game, personally I didn't feel it was as dramatic as some, just two teams that don't like each other, wanting to win.

The 2nd quarter was the most pivotal with Norwood scoring 5 goals to the Dogs none.

Both sets of supporters will feel aggrieved about the umpiring .. Often when the whistle blew both sets of supporters would remain tight lipped because they genuinely didn't know which way a decision was going to go.

Both teams missed some goals they shouldn't have and in the end I think Norwood were just that bit more efficient than their opponent.

Fair summary.

I didn't see the game.

I was at the Crows game.

My post has given just as much insight into yesterday's game at the Parade as the other 4 pages has.

Shame really, I like to read these threads to see what happens in other SANFL games.

Oh no the 19th man didn't get to read a summary.

Cry me a river.

Who gives a kris massie !!r

Ha ha - nice one.

PS - we can discuss the merits of attending SANFl games from 11am at Prospect, which is where I will be today.

Looking forward to seeing what state the Ponderosa was in for yesterday's 18s game when the ABC shows highlights of the game next Sunday.

As the sun beings to set on the Doggies season, you can here them whine, whine, whine.

Any comment on the sh*t cheap punch that the CD player gave one of our players before the start of the game?

SH*T team who are 5 wins behind the League leaders

SH*T team who will only last 1 game of the finals.

I love it when Centrals start the game with the rough stuff, just shows they are not focusing on their game but ours ! Hope they keep doing it as I am enjoying the premiership points they have been giving us lately.
Enjoyed the game apart from the bewildering umpiring.
With so many top line players out this week just shows the depth of players Norwood have.
Have not written Centrals off yet and look forward to beating them in the GF.

With the demise of the Magpies we have to have someone to hate !!!!

With some quality players being rested that was a good win from the reigning premier Davis, Bampton, Dumont all impressive . I hope Thomas and Stevenson play finals two very handy acquisitions.
The crowd was small cause it was sal's 40th and it's surprising centrals have f*ck all supporters they've all jumped off. Thomas, Delta, O'Hara all went missing they don't like the contested ball.
I personally don't give a rats arse what other supporters think of my football club, Im proud and privileged to be born a NORWOOD supporter. :D

There is no-one called Delta in our team. Trent Goodrem has a famous sister named Delta. Perhaps that is where you got confused. Typical Norwood supporter, can't tell the difference between a male and a female. Explains a lot.
