Yep, sporting club changed beer.

I reckon our final is at the Valley -double header with the C grade.

I THINK.

I'm about to build about $18k worth of fecking retaining wall I didn't think I'd need and you're asking me if the $5 to get into Harpers broke my bank?

So works well for everyone!

I was sort of expecting your C grade game on the lower oval on Saturday, although changeroom wise, that probably wouldn't work

We wanted to play at the "real" Harpers but yeah, changerooms wouldnt work playing same time as A grade.

We even tried, Saturday night or Friday night, Modbury was apparantly keen but PAOC couldnt do it at these times in the D8R game, (could be wrong though).

We are down to play the early game before the A grade so we get the home final.

Another win and a prelim final be a great way to send off Carey Payne

Thanks champ we have nothing to fear I say bring it on so proud of this group this year no pressure on my boys I know GG won't want to go out in straight sets Again bring on sat I say get on blodge peeps...

Here's a tip: Rug up, it's going to be cold ;)

Normally I'd pick Plympton in a canter, however not sure this weather will suit. How'd Plympton oval held up this week WUB? I know it normally holds up pretty well. Don't think I've ever seen mud on it

I can't pick a winner in the 1st semi - I'm not completely confident that Brahma can carry on with it, but they have nothing to lose so it wouldn't surprise me if they did as there's no pressure.

It's Golden Groves to lose - and given it's a final, unfortunately they probably will - and I'm very happy to be proven wrong. The less Scudds focused they are, the more likely they are to win. They have plenty of very capable goal scorers.

Yeah hard week, i think il go plympton just! Will not be an easy game, the other semi is where il be, i dont think that its a formality... Golden grove are better without scudds... Way to 1 dimensional... If young payne can time his spoils and use his athletism to get over scudds, itl go a long way, il go brama 1-12... Unfortunately straight sets for golden grove after a great start.... Alot of mates at golden grove so would to be proved wrong!

i can name a few things brahma lodge need to address in order to beat GG tomorrow

1.defense players can not afford to give away the cheap free kicks they do trying to intimidate and push around other teams
2.defense rotation will catch them out and the lack of speed they have
3.the midfield while they are fast the wet conditions will mean they need to find some hard ball winners

in the other game will come down purely to who can run out the 4 quarters better... take chances when needed and finish of with goals and not points

I don't understand why people say that Golden Grove has a bad finals record. I think if you go back over the 'A' grade records I think GG come out on top with finals wins. Anyways, we obviously don't want to go out in straight sets and hopefully can get the job done. If our midfield can get on top I think we can get over the line.

In the other game I will tip Plympton in a tight one. Small deck and muddy conditions suit Plympton more than SW - SW are more suited to the larger grounds where they can utilise their run.

Probably goes back to 2010 (?) when you were also firm favourites in all grades bar the C's and lost all by shiteloads. I helped you guys out that year in finals (which I'll add has nothing to do with the result ;) )

You even got into that final the hard way, losing a gimme game to Pooraka in the semi at Pooraka.

IIRC, the C's won that year?

Regardless, you lot have been the benchmark all year and with that comes the pressure to perform.
