It was 6 votes from the 1st 6 clubs. By the time Central and South had a vote the AFC had already gained entry so it didn't matter what they voted.
Did they vote against so they look like the good guys? Would they have voted differently if they were the 1st clubs to vote? we'll never know.
To those who have stated that they wont renew their memberships and are done with the SANFL, good riddance, f..k off, don't come back.

Are you trying for a job at AFC? That's some impressive deflection from your clubs weak effort.

I was under the impression it needed to be unanimous. Don't know where I got that idea.

Such eloquence!
Poor Norwood. Now everyone is beating up on you. Face it, like the other 5 clubs, your club was spineless and oh so, so easily bluffed by the AFC. But you want to suggest it was all the fault of the voting process?

Unfortunately many people will not renew their memberships and will never come back to the SANFL. The problem with this whole farce is that those that are most disgruntled are the long term club members who attend games week in and week out. And these are the people the clubs and the SANFL can least afford to alienate.

wasn't stating facts. they were just unanswerable questions. I guess its alright for Norwood to tarnish the SANFL. That's how we celebrate our tainted premiership.
Who should we recruit during this recruiting ban?

My view of Norwood is no different to any of the clubs who voted yes. Spinless, week, and more easily bluffed than a pre-school child. There are no excuses for your club. Stop trying to dream them up. It's pathetic.

I guess I should've stated that my 1st line shows that I wanted the No vote to get through. Yes a change of vote at the 11th hour is spineless. F..k Joe for that

Considering the proposal needed unanimous support. The fact we voted NO last makes NO DIFFERENCE.

ICC have claimed even DRS is more reliable than Norwood.

Because we are financially stuffed, and this guaranteed $50,000 a year
Effectively AFC has been opportunistic in its timing, some clubs are in dire situations, all they needed to do was flash a bit of cash and they would lap it up.

The money on offer is petty cash for the amount of loan repayments. I think it puts those financially challenged clubs in more trouble than at present.....

That's even more stupid of a board to fall for a short term fix like that.

They should be ousted immediately if they're looking to get by season to season in a hand-to-mouth fashion.

500k a year yes, but 50k? FFS... what are we dealing with.

Maybe they'll put that 50k in the pokies and see if we can win a jackpot!
