South should be really angry at the panel that selected Ron Fuller, oh hang on - that was Ron Fuller!

If Ron is kept based on his performance over the last 4 years then the club is not serious about winning football games!!!!
No way that crowd figure is correct less than 700 easily!!!!!
The 5 year plan has been a complete FAILURE!!!!!!!!

I've heard the same thing, maybe South were too embarrassed to put the real attendance figure in the paper so they made up one over 1000.

The SANFL control the gate at every ground bar Centrals from memory. So its the League providing the figures to the media.....

For the life of me, I cant work out why thats the case?

Anyway, I didnt attend this one. Quite simply, the way the weather was and the way these two teams are playing I took the option of a day out and about with the family over a trip to Noarlunga to sit in the car and watch that.

Family that went said the game was an appalling spectacle.
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

I wasn't there so don't know ...

however

at Noarlunga there are usually quite a few who watch the game from the upstairs clubrooms after the lunch.

not to mention the ones who stay in their car to watch.

Club needs to hire a coach recently retired from the modern game.

If the club sits on its hands and does nothing we can expect to see our best players leaving the club at the end of the season and that is NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!!!
Really sick of hearing the same old garbage at South (they left for the cash, they didn't want to play for the guernsey)

News flash players want to play in a flag before they retire and the club should be doing all it can to help players achieve this otherwise we will have another player exodus!!!!!! (James Boyd, Craig Parry, Ben Warren all say hello)

If anyone at South thinks having all 3 grades 8th on the ladder is a pass mark for the season then we are doomed to be mediocre forever!!!!!
Crowds will continue to tumble as suppoters / members have had enough of the Fuller Era, 4 years of going nowhere is LONG ENOUGH!!!!!!!

I have heard the same for every coach the SAFC have sacked since Rick Davies, people spout on about how its all the fault of the Senior Coach at South Adelaide and how if we just sack him it will all turn around etc. The point of the 5 year contract was to end the revolving door of coaches at the SAFC which itself was believed to be a massive problem at South, - you can not have your cake and eat it as well....

So because other coaches have been sacked in the past we should put up with where the club is currently at?
Two Questions Need to be asked here:
1. Will Ron take us to a premiership Next year? I don't think he will, which leads to the second question.
2. Should the club extend Ron's contract beyond season 2014? Based on his performace over the last 4 years I don't think he warrants a contract extension.
So if he can't take us to a flag and isn't going to be re-signed why should the club waste another season? Far as I can see all that will be accomplished by keeping Ron is good players will leave, supporters will stay away cause we have given him 4 years and we are 8th and going nowhere!!!!
But this is the problem too many people at South are willing to accept poor performances!!!!
Just my opinion anyone :)

Sure, sack Fuller and being someone else in, but will that really change anything? It's obvious issues run deeper than who is coaching the team...

Conditions were never going to allow for an attractive style of footy on Sunday, but was an enjoyable game to watch. Close game only decided when the South full back played on from a kick out, stumbled for 10m before over and getting done for holding the ball. Madden goaled and that was it.
