That was surprisingly illuminating. David Burtenshaw, 6 August 2013: "Someone is telling porkies or someone is making it up."

David,

Considering the Crows are crap, will a dedicated reserves side really make any difference.

You know, can't polish a turd and all that.

Cheers ...

David, is finishing 3rd last year to 13th this year some sort of record in the AFL?

David, the coach that you thought was good enough to be your longest serving coach believed the best way for players to develop was within the sanfl teams. Hence never pushed for reserves. A new untried coach comes in with a different viewpoint, which impacts on a whole competition, and misses a gf by a goal under the standard system. Do you think Sanderson could be wrong? Also, do you believe integrity has no place in the afl or at least not at the Adelaide football corporation?

I suppose the Crows' pathetic performance in 2013 is the SANFL's fault because they didn't already have a reserves team in place!

David , can you categorically say the Crows won't treat the SANFL with such contempt?

David, on behalf of myself and my family who are Cats members and all my friends who are Sydney, Carlton, Collingwood, West Coast and Essendon members can you tell me if the Crows will keep wasting money and time on an issue every year as opposed to winning football games consistently?
Please say yes.
Perhaps the big issue next year is that the scoreboard telling the Crows supporters when to cheer isn't big enough?

Lock this thread mods.

We can all see that David came on here expecting us to roll over and part our cheeks (accept the AFC in the SANFL) like the SANFL league directors did and when he tried to buy us a few drinks (by stroking our hair and telling us it will be ok) he soon realised that he was up against it and his tone became smarmy and unpalatable as the decision grew clearer.

He wont be back. The next time you're in here and see "guest" listed on the bottom of the page it will be most likely him with a little smirk on his face.

Thanks for treating the people of this football forum who make up a large portion of the SA football public with such contempt.

Ethel and Mavis' apricot slices will no doubt be all over Norwood Oval in the middle of next winter as the lovely boys play the Redlegs in the depths of winter while the Crow boys trade blows with West Coast at Subiaco. Oh, make no mistakes those Crow fans will flock to see the seconds play.

Meanwhile Mr.Trigg can sleep well at night knowing he has lied point blank to the South Australian football community twice in 6 months.
