Respect to you, Dogs and Panthers. More integrity in you two than the other 6 clubs, the league, and the two ******* AFL clubs combined.

Will gladly purchase token memberships from your clubs next year.

There are 6 other men for whom that could also be said right now. Oh, and throw in John Olsen there too.

David Cavenett I thought you would crumble U DIDNT

I WAS WRONG!!!

It's like winning a premiership but I can say I'm very proud to be a cdfc supporter

I will still buy my club membership every year, I will still spend way to much over grand central, I will vote dave in at the next agm

I will go watch Centrals at Noarlunga but there will be no other away trips for me the rest of the spineless clubs can get ******!!!!!

Centrals are still my love but the SANFL is dead to me!

Trigg should be erased from the history books at the CDFC, he is a slimy, squirmy, weazling ****

RB wrote:For me, the fact that the AFL franchises will soon have reserves teams in the SANFL means that the corporate, VFL infiltration of football in this state is now complete.

The SANFL withstood the exodus of some of the top players to the VFL in the 1980s.

The SANFL withstood the formation of the Crows in 1990.

The SANFL withstood the passage of mainstream interest and media coverage it to the AFL in the 1990s.

The SANFL withstood the decline of crowds from an average of nearly 10,000 forty years ago to 3,000.

...

It seems to be abhorrent that the SANFL, a magnificent league in its own right for so long will now become just a training tool for the AFL clubs. Simply, it is being 'used', and 6 league directors are responsible for this.

I hope South and Centrals wear black armbands this week to recognise the death of the SANFL.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

I was going to Walk away from the SANFL if South voted yes and I told the club this. I am really proud of my club the South Adelaide Football club. We have struggled the whole time on field for the entire time I have supported the club but when it really counted South showed they were prepared to stand against the Crows.
I will be renewing my membership for next season.
Well done South and well done Central.

While I will never attend another Eagles game after this season, in order to show my approval of South and Central, I may attend a game between the two in the unlikely event that it is played within 30km of my house. A neutral game at e.g. Adelaide Oval would be appreciated...

I'll see the season out then that's it for me.
I'll donate the equivalent of a membership to South, renew my membership at Centrals.
No season ticket, won't be going to games.
Just gutted.
