Tony Abbott will probably be prime minister in a few weeks based on the same thing. Que sera sera.

If it works, they're geniuses. If it falls to pieces, blame the people who were in charge before.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Gutted.

A bit more money for Uraidla next year then.

So 6 clubs are willing to vote yes to a cobbled together proposal that requires faith in AFL clubs and the SANFL commission?

Centrals and South requiring more information before even considering a yes vote, from what I gather.

We were all ****** at some point anyway based on that, might as well get it over and done with.

And the vote was hastily arranged for today because the 6 required votes were secured, not because the consultation was done.

I'm not happy with the Crows fielding a reserves team in the SANFL.

But...

If it means my club has a hope of survival I'll live with it.

Talk of people abandoning the competition altogether is pretty severe. The only scenario that would see me stop supporting the club I've loved for 35 years would be a Crows takeover.

So when the crows play league now, there are no reserves or U18 games on that weekend as curtain raisers?

Yep, just like the VFL.

Saturday, I go to my home ground (North Port Oval) and watch our seniors (Port Melbourne) take on Geelong's VFL (Reserves) side. No curtain raiser.

So will the SANFL reduce prices to reflect this?

It's interesting to see how quickly things have changed. This was only from November last year

Have to admit I was confident
Disgraceful decision by the club and I have let them know my thoughts and they will cop a barrage of abuse at the next home game.
Am deeply hurt by the clubs position on this :(
