Where does that stand right now.

Less than that. It will hinge on the type of issues any Clubs raise tomorrow evening. If they are things that can be solved, I think they will be solved. But if they are major obstacles, it will probably fall over. David

David,

Why hasn't the crows consulted a fans representative group?

If the people on here aren't representative, how about getting a group that is in the opinion of all the clubs involved?

Based on the info nights that have gone ahead, aren't you concerned that the clubs aren't consulting or taking into account their members views?

How is it fair David that the Ravens may be given assistance on a year by year basis to make them competitive while other SANFL teams may be given no support?

If you were given support yet finished above an SANFL club would you pass that support onto them.

The decision rests with the Club directors and how they deal with their own fans is probably up to them. I think the Clubs that did have information nights would have provided some useful info for members. Reports I had from my Club's meeting (the Eagles) were positive. Not everyone agreed with everything said but that's how it was always going to be. David

Will "ravens" supporters be paying $14 everytime they attend an SANFL game? Or will there be free tickets/discounts thrown in with a Crows membership?

David, your crowd figures in the words of Bohdan Jaworskyj "were never taken seriously" and were all a part of the Crows trying their best to "bluff their way in" and "are not realistic". Also he suggested that the Crows have admitted this. Is he lying, misinformed or a mixture of both?

Cmon South and Norwood, support the Dogs and send them to the SAAFL. Call their bluff and lets see them in the SANFL reserves for a trial period first.

Tippet obviously wasnt such a bad bloke after all

No, I'm not confident. I do know we won't be in the reserves though.

I can't be bothered trawling through the posts, but I reckon you claimed you were 85% confident of the reserves proposal getting up a few days ago.

What changed your mind? Wasn't Chiggy obsequious enough towards the AFC in his address last night?

That will depend on the final arrangements with the SANFL, if it proceeds.

All I wanted was for him to publicly admit truth.... They did no ******* research regarding crowd numbers

The questions didn't get any tougher, they just kept going around in circles.

I wrote about the crowd "guesstimate" very early in the piece. We have backed ourselves to attract between 2000 to 6000 per game. There will be opportunities down the track to review the system if required but I think you underestimate the level of interest there will be in a Crows reserves side. Anyway, proof will be in the pudding. David
I appreciate it's a tough gig answering questions from a hostile crowd. But to remain silent in the face of pertinent questions, and then chime in with snappy responses only to abusive/negative commentary (much of which flowed from the failure to answer pertinent questions), is unworthy of the AFC and tarnishes the whole exercise. I appreciate that these conversations can flow a little chaotically. But to recap the major questions that on my reading haven't been addressed head-on:

1. Forget 'guesstimates', forget 'we believe', forget 'we've backed ourselves'. They weren't the questions. The "2000 to 6000" figure was based on zero market research (or any other research) and was no more than a wet finger in the air guess/assertion. True or false?
2. The AFC is neither prepared to underwrite its own games as to putting the hosting SANFL club in a guaranteed minimum attendance financial position, nor prepared to underwrite the clubs as to any net revenue loss if members not renewing and fans not turning up, outweighed the additional funds provided to SANFL clubs from the AFC reserves joining the comp. Correct or incorrect? If correct, why isn't the AFC prepared to put its money where its mouth is as to the supposed benefits of this plan for the SANFL comp? Would it be too uncharitable to suggest that this is indicative of an 'we've got what we want, all of that stuff is your problem' attitude?
3. User 'Look Good in Leather's questions about the practical impact of the club's asserted desire to 'play to the line', from which it must follow that it's trying to win a SANFL premiership— and trying to win one as hard as the teams it's playing against. You've been prompted to answer these non-circular, non-repetitious questions by another user already. Any answers?

For me this is a major issue.
They must pay at the gate or buy a season ticket.
Not comfortable with Crows members getting free entry

If he thinks it is unrealistic to expect between 2000 and 6000 fans to go to SANFL games involving the Crows, that's his call.

At 11pm, that was not my intention.

My point was not that.

Earlier posts indicated a unanimous vote was required. Now it seems a 6-2 vote with defeated parties committing to abide by the vote will suffice.

Are you trigging us? Sorry, I meant tricking.

David, why do you believe there is so much interest in a 'Crows Reserves' side. Once again is that based on anything, even just a little supporter poll or something.

When history has shown that much bigger supporter bases in the AFL like Essendon, Collingwood, Hawthorn dont have alot of interest in a RESERVES side.

Its a different comp i understand but none the less it will still be a reserves side you are trying to attract people to.

How would that help the SANFL clubs? No season tickets is the way to go
