**** BT is getting annoying.

Also liked the look of Grundy again tonight. Big future, the pies have really got a nice bargin in the draft there. Looks a much better prospect that Witts at this stage.

I think Witts will take a little longer to mature in the ruck, but showed he can be useful up forward and they'll make a good combo in years to come.

Why do Sydney persist in playing at that crap hole stadium?

We cant all play at the MCG each week. You know one of the big 4 dont play at small stadiums.

ANZ is a terrible stadium for any event.
All of Sydney's games should be at the SCG

Yeah Q, I was just saying that Grundy I believe will come on faster than Witts. And yes the 2 in combo will be good in years to come. Grundy I think will be something special where as Witts will be an honest contributor. Still not a bad spot to be in with Jolly's days coming to an end fast.

We've gone through a lot of young ruckman in recent years in search of Jolly's replacement and it took Grundy slipping down the draft to finally nail one!

How did the hardest working, 2 way running midfield in the comp go tonight Roosy?
Im calling it now they are the biggest frontrunners out of the teams in the top 5 or 6, they havnt got close to Port, Hawks or Pies. And lost narrowly to Geelong and drew at home with Freo.
They are an average team favoured by the draw and will be until GWS get up and going. The AFL will always ensure there is a team in Sydney going very well.

Looked that way at half-time.

But I'll take the "respectable" loss.

Monfries with a career-best seven sausage rolls...

Port lifted and shut The cats down. I was there and Geelong seemed to have lost interest. But take nothing away from Port they won the last quarter and played like the cats did in the first half.

Some good games on today, and a not so good I guess.

Im actually expecting North to beat the crows today, if North play lik they did last week they pass over the crows without much fuss. But hey anything can happen on game day.

Not saying they're a complete joke, just don't think they're as good as we keep being told. What teams of real quality have they beaten this year? Seem to have moved away a bit from that high pressure game to a bit more free flowing and last night they were extremely one dimensional with tippett up forward. Fourth in premiership betting for me at the moment, guess they have 7 weeks to change it.

A bit harsh. probably just doing as is instructed by the umpires coach.

Meanwhile, the 50m penalties being handed out these days for the most pettiest things are a disgrace and a blight on the game.
