turk186 fact your team vs pooraka in the B grade fielded C grade players from another club fact the C grade coach from TTG was pissed fact greenies got in trouble fact

turk186 call up saafl head quarters and ask them ya self......all findings and results are made public you just need to ask

why is a greenacres supporter getting stuck into a fellow supporter???? weird.. fact

If it is true, Greenacres being called to account in the public arena is what they deserve. If for example an Opposition Club was to miss finals because of a tainted victory and the offending Club got away with it..... the implications could be huge. If I had an affiliation with the Club and was so inclined that it is "not on" I would think venting your views would be better directed to the Clubs Committee for sanctioning it.

only 1-2 people at the time would have known what was going on.....im sure the committee would have been pissed

Not only C grade players from TTG but people who are not even affiliated with football. A lady at my work told me her husband was asked to play in the B grade for Greenacres one week and he couldn't play that week. Somehow he has managed to play a B grade game against Pooraka and got in the best that day but has not played a game of footy in Adelaide ever, he actually referees rugby lol

Surely if you are going to name people that didn't actually play you would not name them in the best.

Sounds to me like Greenacres have just been trying to get enough people to fill a side and get a game happening. Nothing untoward from what it appears. Probably just going about things the wrong way because I'm sure the league would be accommodating to their plight.

Geez Greenies could've given me a call I would've played :(

As bad as it is to get outsiders to play, is it worse than not having a game at all? At least they are trying!

Another noble sentiment there PG ......... If it was a scratch match with no points on the line and providing both sides agreed rather than have a bye why not........or if not and they then played and then beat your team costing your boys a finals spot........would not be a problem for you PG????? ;)

RS if you are serious about the club you claim you "support" why dont you just shut TFU.... we are going to div5 and can do nothing about it but we are trying to go with some pride... forfieting our B grade is an absolute last resort so I am sure we do everything we can within the rules to put a team on the park..... at least we give the team we play a chance for their players to have a kick and a catch and better percentage than a forfiet....why dont you RS get out from behind your keyboard, step up to the plate and help...rather than just sledge.. but I doubt you have the balls to do that.

Greenies are having thier Pink Day tomorrow I would ask all to spare a thought for those that have a friend , family member or just someone you know that has been affected by breast cancer, if possible get along to Hicks Park buy a ribbon have a drink and show your support, this is a day that is very close to our clubs heart and all profits go to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

Glad someone is listening! Thought my last lot fell on deaf ears with all the vomit this thread has coughed up over the last few posts.

Please don't judge me on the obvious GG bias. Hard to know all players in the comp so I've probably erred toward our guys a bit.

Midfield noms

W: Wellington (SW). Do we need to argue this one. Gun. Shame about the haircut.
C: Dunkley (Plym). Smoothest moving mid in the cop. Plymptons best player. Kicks goals, sets them up and wins clearances. My tip for the medal.
W: Aish (Pul). When Aish is on, Pultney are dangerous. Although not a wingman in his side, he plays the outside role very well. Pushes forward and kicks goals.

R: S.Peterson (GG): IMHO, best ruckman in the comp. tap work and around ground dominance. Will poll highly in medal in the first half of the year.
RR: Sa Scudds (GG). Has had a really solid year with a purple patch in the middle rounds. Big bodied player for the typical RR role.
R: Wooton (Hec). Most dangerous player in the heccies engine room. I player we had to tag hard twice. Consistent season

Before I do my take on the back 6 I'd love to hear other people's noms, especially on players from clubs others than their own. Very hard to pick defenders. Rarely get the recognition they deserve and aren't really the big name players.

It is hard to pick a team with so many good players but from Hope Valley I would have Duggan on the wing before Aish( he has played there before ) and Chris Mitchell in Defence at Centre Half Back or Full Back.

Why would you rest half your side?

And why wouldn't they be happy??

Nice excuse, better make sure you blokes win next week if you think some blokes deserve a week of leading to finals :?

Well played - 4 teams - 4 losses. Start calling you the aust cricket team with that rotation policy.
