I still wish Norwood had taken this Cup seriously.
A Foxtel sandwich between Premiership slices would have been delicious.
;)
Oh well, at least an S.A. club gets the kudos and the cash.
Congratulations Westies !

Well done Bloods - would have been some very tired legs after playing in those conditions on Saturday, so all the more credit to you

Good observation Zip-Zap - I thought that at half time - The conditions at Richmond were very heavy and the players looked like they ran out of legs late in the 3rd qtr

Our discipline was awful at times which didnt help BUT what a win!

I went to Footy Park and watched the game last night.

It was a good win by Westies, taking the game seriously is what football is all about.

Were West tired from last Saturdays slog, yes they probably were and it did show in the last Q.

As a Southie, I was cheering West on but could not bring my self to say Come 'on West, so I said Come on South, those around me understood where I was coming from, it was really the only way I could get interested in it.

As a neutral football follower, the three Umpires tonight had absolutely no Idea of the game, what infringement earned a free kick, if they are the best umpires for a Grand Final then heaven help the game.

West won ugly tonight, just goes to prove they are the shippiest team to watch play football, its no wonder playing that style footy fans stay home.

Have to agree with you there PP, i don't know how i stayed up to watch that crap but i did.
Well done to West $100K is $100K & can help West along way to covering their debt if the players don't get it for an end of season trip.

I've heard Collins 50% & the Players 50%.
The club 0%

Shippier than South??? Whoops. They done the job and played a good first hal beating a few good sides along the way. Big credit to the Bloods, pretty sure they need that cash.

Not all SANFL clubs have the AFL handing over money to pay the bills

You would think how the 'One Club" finances have been over the past years you might have some humility Booney

The GFC has struck small business too, while we are making statments not relevent to the discussion. Why does every debate get sent back Ports way? Pretty certain that's been kicked around enough.

Anywho, well done to Westies. 30 years is a long time to wait for silverware (of any form)

Wouldn't players be paid their normal match fee? or the club do a "foxtel cup" payment of say $400 per player per game? (approx $25,000 over the 3 game. therefore $75,000 to the club)
they are the ones that won it after all?
