Might want to get your facts right there Carolyn "Moses" Wilson...
But don't let facts get in the way of your story telling ability as its quiet entertaining..

I heard Scotch were a bit concerned going into the Payneham game with 6 players out in the A’s and 14 in the B’s. Had to forfeit their fifth placed C’s. Ouch. Scotch can’t play Athelstone in first final at Scotch. Oval unavailable. So are Thebarton and Campbelltown. Where will it be played? League will need a fenced oval. Kilburn? Salisbury?

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Scotch sometimes use St Marys Park if it is available.

4 Wingfield Royals 20 (winning both & other results going their way could sneak into Top 3)
5 Kenilworth 19 (loosing both opens door up for Scotch but win both Top 3 is alive with best % in Div)
6 Scotch OC 16 (need to win both say no more)

See Eastern Park forfeited against Seaton that's 3 x forfeits this year...

Seaton - will be hard to knock off Top Spot now.
Fitzroy - will find it hard to reclaim Top Spot as need to win both & hope that CBCOC can give Seaton a good run next week.
Wingfield - can grab the double chance as they have a better % than Eastern Park & will go into finals fresh after 3 x teams forfeited against them this season.
Eastern Park - will also go into finals fresh as they have also played 3 x games less than others through forfeits just wondering how many players will actually qualify as double up B's & C's games only the higher grade counts but their best team is very good.
Kenilworth - are a hard unit with everyone up & about, it looks like they maybe doing the longest trip in C3 two weeks in a row when they play Eastern Park next week then also back up again in Elimination Final the week after.

I think it use to be a rule was not sure if it still is but found this on the league website.

25.7 The League may in its absolute discretion impose a fine, suspend or withdraw from the competition, a team or the Member Club which forfeits three matches or more during any one season and deem such Member Club to be ineligible for any refund of any fees or subscriptions, either paid or due to be paid to The League.

But at the end of the day everyone wants to play the best sides in the major round

That's good news as when your full strength your side is very competitve & hard to beat as both times against us were cracking games & as I mentioned in an earlier post that you want every team to be at their best come finals & your boys will be very hard to stop, Top 5 are very even & anyone can win it.

Is it true that there was a lively debate between coaches the previous Saturday night over player selections?
Don't think it involved the A grade...

CBC Old Collegians 9.8-62 Defeated Seaton Ramblers 9.7-61

Fitzroy defeated Pooraka

Meaning Fitzroy finish top.
Seaton 2nd- this can't change.

As long as Wingfield beat Mawson Lakes, they stay 3rd.

Kennilworth v Eastern Park is almost a dead rubber, as they are likely to play ewach other next week.
The only way that can change, is if Mawson Lakes beat Wingfield, and Eastern Park beat Kennilworth.

Kenilworth won by 11 goals.

Cheers- although that doesn't change ladder positions between EP & K
Home final (subject to confirmation) for EP, would see a return bout at the same venue 7/8 days later

All depends on what the SAAFL choose to do as there is talk of either Friday night finals or getting attached onto other A's / B's finals as these Clubs pay $1000+ to host a final & these could be either 10am or 4:30pm triple headers is what I am hearing for all C Grade Divisions which could spice things up unless a C Grade Club wants to pay $500+ to host a home game?
