Good question ???

Steven You've worked on this for 18 months and all you've got to tell SANFL fans is you'll help develope the clubs and mentioned something about cross promotion/memberships???

Is that it ???

He stated he believes it will be a benefit about 4 times.

Sounded more like he was trying to convince himself .

You've had 18 months and you haven't been able to find a suitable solution re top up players. So how long are you going to give SANFL to find a solution ???

Given the black marks against his name in the last 18 months, I don't think Trigg can afford to get caught lying or going back on his word here.
He didn't HAVE to say what he said about wanting a unanimous vote the other day, he offered that of his own accord.
And he's quite right. It may only take six clubs to vote them in but if one or two are against it, those clubs and their fans will actively work against it and the whole thing is going to fly straight into the ground, particularly when one of those clubs is the biggest one at the table.

You are talking like the Crows actually give a shit about what those sanfl supporters think.

Planning this for 18months-2 years, and they would walk away with a 7-1 vote? Come on.

Took forever to ask some fairly simple yes / no questions and took the scenic route to get there which is a sound media tactic when in trouble to use up limited time and reduce # of questions asked. Sounded uncomfortable with the directness of some questions.

Nothing. Will blame it on someone else. I'm sure the board could over rule him. ;)

What is a man without his integrity?
He has taken such a beating in recent times and this is a small town.
He's not going to work at AFC forever.
If he goes back on his word, he'll be slaughtered.
Rooch will have a field day.
Crows branding has suffered too ... they'd love to play in the SANFL but not if it does them more harm than good.
They can hardly sell themselves as "The team for all South Australians" if they're getting booed on SANFL grounds next year by the handful of us left who bother to turn up.

Good politicians tactic. Ramble on about nothing. That is my problem with what questions were asked. Money should have been one. How could the "play to the line" rule be enforced. Do the crows take everyone for idiots.

what you have just said is very much the same for Politicians, and they don't have much of an issue when they finish up from politics and neither will trigg

It's not like we're Crows supporters or anything.

1.30pm Gary McGill ... NO AFL IN SANFL

1.45pm Steven Trigg

You get to ask trigg some questions, and you ask "where the crows would play in the amateurs, and about crow/sanfl club supporters feelings". Wasted opportunity there. Nice to know Phil H hopes it all works out, being a crow supporter.

Unfortunately the media tends to be soft in interviews. Just look at how politicians get away with their rubbish responses. My feeling is stations don't want to offend for fear of not being able to interview the person in the future.

Trigg was on ABC too... no hard questions at all... its like a set up.

If this is an accurate figure it just goes to show how desperate some clubs are for money because there is NO WAY the clubs are letting Adelaide in because they "think it will make the competition better".

It's also laughable to think Adelaide truly believe playing a team in the amatuer competition is of more benefit than the current set up.

Excellent work by Koch and Thomas to sit back and watch this shit fall to pieces.

Yep sitting back while putting forward a "great" argument of WHY?????

Yeah, because "why not" argument was just so compelling. "Because the $ANFL says so."

South Adelaide (or any club for that matter) should invite Trigg and his cronies to the Members night on Tuesday. Let them face a few tougher questions.
